Lol Rio didn't even duel him in the air. And VDS was wrongly positioned because no one expected Xavi to cross to Messi of all people for a header. That's the only good thing about this goal. The header itself is literally average

I don't know if Xavi was intending to pass the ball or assist Messi, but Messi for sure saw the opportunity to head the ball into an open space and took it.
