Story: We filmed on an empty session at the Toronto Cricket Club, and in the last 5 minutes, I decided to try an experimental angle... very close and very slow motion! See the results in the second half of the video. We were tired but that was even better!

I watched the full video when it was released and I was as well looking for the others in the background I thought Tracy (my Fav) was sitting with the people in the center window but not sure, it sure looks like her. I think I have watched this specific video um..., about fourty times now. Love it and I am truly astonished at how Jason makes all those VERY difficult moves look effortless. How can he be so talented and have accomplished so much, and be loved so much if he were not blessed by God?
His joy for the ice and performing is evident😍

It helps to understand how intricate Jason's footwork is - ok, not that we didn't know, but in this sequence it was oh, so dramatically evident!!! I can't blame Jason for having a couple of rather human moments!!! You are brightening up our days with your great job and we are so, so grateful - and let us see more of collaboration with Jason!!!
The slow motion part is Godly! The feeling of being able to experience movement like this is magnificent. I become Jason while watching it. I come back to this video every now and then because it is so unique. Thank you Jordan.

I love the very close and slow angle...lets us all see how much detail and work goes into even tiny little moves! Truly, your channel helps me appreciate figure skating, and figure skaters, in a whole new way.
It may be a smaller detail but the 60fps make it even cooler. I love this channel, damn, the camerawork makes everything 200% more enjoyable and mesmerizing.

Thank you for including the falls. They ended up going perfectly with the music and made it all the more human. When I was on ice as a noob watching all these pro skaters falling doing the most complicated things, I felt we don't even see half of their story in the final polished program in the competitions. I also got to know they express themselves much more freely when they allow themselves to fall without worrying about consequences. This video summed up that feeling perfectly.

Awesome: skating by Jason and film editing by Jordan Cowan: the second section (in slow motion and with great jazz vocal music) was brilliant!!! I love your "On Ice Perspectives" films. (And, Jordan, you have to be one heck of a skater to keep up with Jason, film him from so close up, and create such a beautiful "artistically edited" second half. Plus, I still replay, over and over, your OIP of rehearsal by Guillaume Cizeon and Gabriella Papadakis, the one where they were practicing their Tango in 2018.

No, these were filmed right before his concussion - it was August, just before he went to Champs Camp where he got into the accident.
