For those wondering: Luigi's Game Gallery isn't entirely a horror mod that uses a friendly fakeout like Sonic Legacy, but rather uses an assortment of unofficial medias, based on what I've seen in previous teasers. (Edit: I've removed the last part since Rodri117 clarified)
The only thing close to a fakeout would be that this Mario happens to be him during Super Mario World, and the Luigi seen in "Luigi Teaser" is implied to be the one we see in I HATE YOU.
So, kind of like Mario's Madness except the focus is official content rather than horror but still has songs referencing other fan media in the franchise?

About damn time a NON Exe mod has actual good music that doesn't sound flat or directionless and of course like it is always gonna finally get to the beat drop but it just never happens but this right here actually just sounds good like People who know how to make music made it wonderful job really amazing so far also yes I was expecting him to turn into a spoopy ooga booga Bleedy eyed Plumber glad that didn't happen at least not yet
I was expecting the obituary Mario mix from Twitter to show up after Mario said “here we go!” The song continuing normally genuinely caught me off guard more then a scary thing appearing and that baffles me
Another thing that adds to it meta-wise is that this Mario seems to be from the events of Super Mario World, which came way before DDR Mario Mix was a thing.
I can't explain how unique and incredible the feeling of nostalgia this specific song gave me was. It even made me feel like crying. The melody, the combined voice of BF, for some reason, made me feel so good when I listened to it. Wow, what an amazing mod. I really hope this mod gains traction because, just from this song alone, it has already proven to be incredible to me.
Noticed a neat detail "it'll be refined in the final release since it was mentioned at the beginning that it's a test build": Starting from 1:02, for every "bah" you hear in the instrumental, GF does the thumbs up pose. Of course, since it's a test build, and if you have good hearing, you can somewhat hear some of the "bah"s but GF doesn't do the thumbs up.

Honestly, I don't mind "mixed media" horror & parody mods for Sonic and Mario, as long as they're good and extra high quality! Nice to see a simpler, "celebratory" mod of Mario in this way. :)
I think these are my favorite mariofied designs for BF and GF (sure, Boyfriend's face isn't exactly accurate to the Mario style [maybe do something similar to what Funkadelix did with their BF's face?] but other than that, it's perfect)
