I don’t understand why every designer house is releasing sweet sickly fragrances. Everything smells pretty much the same nowadays, flanker after flanker. Dior is sadly going in the same direction. It’s confusing for the customer too, the market is completely saturated.
In a way, if it's true about Kurkdjian being told what to do with his fragrances, it would be like musical artist being told what to do with their songs/compositions by a producer. Very sad.

Your passion over the years is quite clear and consistent. I am glad two years ago, you were able to completely stock up. Your passion actually made me get a bottle. And.. it is awesome, just not Bernard Chant 1972 Aramis Awesome😂 (for me). I think Dior owes you an original custom 200ml bottle for this betrayal! Be well! Cheers! 😂🤣

Hey Seb As an owner of the previous version of DH Parfum. I, to was surprised on the reformulation change of 2025. To me, it smelt like a mix of amarni code and stronger with you absolutely in the dry down. It's not a horrible fragrance, I feel it maybe aming for a younger audience, for the person who is not a collector but buys the occasional frangrance that is designer mass appealing. It will never beat the previous versions , but for someone that does not know how good it was, he or she will buy it. Me included. Did they change DH Intese in 2020?
They say the DHI was only a bottle change, but I and many others with me noticed a difference. The 2025 has been anounced as only a bottle change, but we know how that can go at Dior🥲
No oud, no rose, no leather. The way the OG was able to make those blend with the rest and smell so great is what MADE the frag. The iris dies very quickly, the drydown is generic and VERY sweet.
I'm praying that Dior retains the old Parfum as per the EDT Original - the change caught me out, and alas, I wasn't able to pick up a back up bottle of the Parfum. I still haven't smelt the new Parfum but will next week when heading to Brussels. I also wish I had bought the 125ml bottles of Ambre Nuit and Tobacolor a few months ago. I wasn't aware the bottles were being reduced to 100ml with Dior charging the same price. It's rather mean of them. Overall, I'm not overly impressed with Dior at the moment.
I am one of the few that actually likes Eau Forte. It’s my second favorite in the Sauvage line right behind the Elixer. The new Homme Parfum I do not like though. I only smelled it once and I didn’t like it at all. I need to give it another shot though.

I have DH Original, Bois d'Argent and Gris Dior. Came too late to have DH Perfume. As far as I'm concerned, given the price increases, discontinued perfumes and bad reformulations, I'm done with Dior.

My review on Fragrantica for DHP 2025. "Why do they include what looks like Oud wood in the promotional photos and it's not part of the note breakdown? Are they mistaking the ingredients of this with the eponymous masterpiece that came before? What happened to Dior? You had a genius who created some amazing works in François Demachy and kept the prestige that Dior had in the fragrance community. That era where alongside the other master perfumer at Chanel, Jacques Polge, where they would give people great fragrance after fragrance is long gone. Now, it seems someone is keenly intent on destroying what this brand stood for. It's kind of sad to witness. Time to bring Demachy back out of retirement. We need him to set this sinking ship back on course. LVMH needs to stop trying to appeal to the teeny boppers. You have brands like Sephora and Fenty Beauty to do that. They can't afford your overpriced fragrances. MFK has the talent, he just need to apply it here or get other perfumers on board like the great Thierry Wasser did with Delphine Jelk at Guerlain."
Dior Homme 25 shouldn’t have the same name. Call it Elixir….. call it EDP Extreme. Whatever you want, just not Parfum. To me, the new one smells like someone mixed Sun Tan Lotion with a hint of Iris. It’s too sweet, too youthful, and too mainstream. I flat out hated it. Guess I need to be sure to have some backups of both Parfum and Intense because I have a feeling they are going to destroy the Intense as well.
Sad to see Dior go from trend setting to trend chasing. Whilst I can understand that DHP might’ve not been a big money maker for the brand, why could DHP25 have not just been released as a flanker?
I don't think the Dior Homme Intense "2025" is real. The bottle with "Dior Homme" on the cap and "Intense" at the bottom seems to be an unused version, from when they were changing the bottle back in 2020. The Dior website has had pictures of this "2025" bottle for years.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to say that when the newest edition of Poison came out. I couldn't believe the change with that latest one. Dior has always been my favorite for me (a woman) and the men's too. I ventured into Valentino territory for my latest perfume. One that has the excitement Dior used to have.
I think the fact it was never launched in the USA. That makes the Dior 2025 a completely new fragrance which it is. I personally enjoy the 2025 it’s a mass appealing designer frag and apparently that’s what Dior wanted. The price is too high is the only gripe but the prices are too high on all fragrances anymore. All in all people need to stop trying to compare to another fragrance that just literally shares the name at this point. Anyone that wants the original get ready for a premium selection on it guaranteed.
Also Dior Privee line is not only going down to 200ml bottles BUT also Dior attendant told me they are personalizing the “Magnetic Lids” and ALSO a new one is coming to the collection in February and she told me if I recall correctly “Amber Woody and sugar”

Totally disagree Eau forte is the best groundbreaking fragrance in years…..the future of perfumery no alcohol excellent with huge longevity on skin and clothes for days!! And the new Dior homme is a masterpiece as well…..the original and the 2014 2020 were excellent back then not anymore……smells like old guys nowdays……just look forward

Pre DHP 2025 it was a maasterpiece! Not it's just a boring old release. Sadly! I left the music off. Just felt that today.
