Awsome video, well timed and edited. A nice pair of long barbecue tongs work well for crucible handling, no plastic of course. I'd recommend setting out some firebrick or a cinder block to set the crucible on after removing it from the furnace. From there you can better reorient the tongs for a safer and more accurate pour. I dig your enthusiasm and style, keep it up!
beautifull music choice. I I'll save this vid fot the future, it will take about a year or more to get all the stuff I'll need, but I'll get there. Thank you for the tutorial!
Hi, I’d have a look at forging. You should be able to get up to temperature quite easy with gas or charcoal. To melt steel it is much trickier than aluminium. You could also consider welding but the outlay of the kit would be reasonably expensive
Well, I think yes but you will face a lot of difficulties cause it requires a lot of temperature and the minimum temperature to melt steel is 1000°c 😬, which is a lot However if you are dedicated then I suggest use good material and strong compounds to make the furnace and to provide temprature use coal to apply temprature from below and use a blow torch ( idk what is it's name ) from above you will get proper results
bro its like they banned steel buckets in my country or smth why can i not find a simple steel bucket the only buckets that look like that are galvanised or made of zinc, would that work?
Hi, my melt stock is just scrap aluminium. I’m not sure about the process to melt rock/ore but you will end up with molten metal and a slag, which will contain the majority of the rock/impurities. Hope that helps
Pretty clever and you can juggle as well, multi talented. You steel a lot of things from your poor wife, I hope you didn’t steel her underwear to make this video as well 😂

Can you show us how the earlier people cast iron?
Because I wonder if they only use clay for casting iron containers?
Nice demonstration, great humor! Good job for smelting on a budget!
I love your works because you are similar to me with low mony wallet !

Again a great video. Even though this one has a bit of a mad scientist level 🤣🤣🤣
What is you melt rock? Does it become metal too or just became back to a rock ? Or depends what type of rock?

@@MetallurgyData thanks
GREAT video...thanks so much
Can you make a 24" flat circle
Think a 24” circle might be a bit big for this kit
Great video!
Thanks 😊 it's possible 😊
Thank you for your video
O cool can I melt old pc cases
again great video mate thanks i love watching u r videos keep going pls
thanks bro
You need a proper crucible holder . The pliers are dangerous mate.
Put a thin plastic liner like a garbage bag or grocery bag around the pot so the plaster doesn't stick to it.
I could make one with stone and cement
Hair dryer really worksK,??(
a match stick also isn't a bad idea

Because of Alzheimer’s connection I would avoid melting Aluminum….
Interesting… do particles become airborne in the process?
What about if you wear a respiratory
