It's not just Paul's epistles. If we can't trust Paul we can't trust the book of Acts since it establishes his bona fides. If we can't trust the book of Acts we can't trust Luke. If we can't trust Luke then a full fourth of the gospels is gone. Also since Mark served with Paul and journeyed with him in his missionary work for a while and was a scribe and companion of Peter we couldn't trust him either and of course we couldn't trust his gospel, the gospel of Mark. And if Peter's second epistle is a forgery because in it Peter supports Paul and considers his writings as scripture then either Peter can't be trusted or through Mark Peter couldn't be trusted or at least anything attributed to him couldn't be trusted. That leaves Matthew, John and his gospel and epistles and Revelation. Since Matthew supposedly relied heavily on Mark that puts in doubt his gospel. So Christianity falls apart if the authority of most of the people who told us about Jesus would be in doubt. So What's left? How do we know anything about Jesus? Of course since Mark evangelized Egypt, Orthodox Christianity would suddenly be in doubt aside; although obviously that pales in comparison to the much bigger problems mentioned earlier.
