flats not knowing what kumon is a blessing tbh because kumon is awful. i used to work at kumon as a teacher and a front desk assistant and, to keep students enrolled, the manager/owner had a system to rig the test scores so that the graph showed a steady incline. if the student's test score was low/high enough to create a giant dent in the graph, the owner would change the score herself. they also mostly hired high school students and HELLA exploited them. like the owners would pressure kids into not asking for a raise, being content with their job because it isn't manual labor, and talk up the job like it's god's gift to the world while paying them minimum wage and not giving out state-mandated breaks. she tried to keep kids working at kumon well into college and guilt/bully them if they tried to leave. kumon is also the only afterschool program that cannibalizes one another; like you'll constantly hear about centers closing and getting absorbed into another city's center. don't send your kids to kumon, whether as an employee or student, unless you hate your children. there are local afterschool programs with more qualified people who actually care.

You gotta be careful with flooding like that. My carpet started growing mushrooms even though I thought I had it under control. We got someone out to reseal it and ever since that spot has had to have a portable radiator constantly on. We also have a mould cupboard that we just can’t be asked to fix because we don’t really ever go in there, and these spots are from the same sealant failure on the foundation of the building. You’ve gotta be careful because things like that growing can be super harmful to things like your respiratory system.

Report the leak to the building manager. Sealant on the base of the building may not be sufficient, causing water to seep in. That can create a mold problem.

Ikr comp is so dog shit that they just swap to QP, I’m all for having fun but not when every other match is as sweaty as a comp game, is rather they fix the ranked system the face every sweat
Every time my friend and I try to play quick play we end up going against the sweatiest players ever. The fact that the casual mode feels the same as or worse than the competitive mode is baffling to me. Hell even arcade mode has tryhards in it and it just makes the overall experience less fun.
If this the case, it would make more sense to play comp as for every win you get competitive points and have a progressing rank while still having the sweaty matches.

I think learning the times tables was my favorite thing. Because my Aunt wanted to be a teacher for kids around my age. So she pulled out some blocks that you can stick together and taught me how to Multiply within a few examples. After that, it was just doing it faster and faster in my brain. My second grade teacher tried to throw us a curve ball on our math homework by putting multiplication at the end. Everyone was upset because we were all pretty consistent on finishing the homework before class ended. So a lot of kids were trying to ask the teacher what the symbols mean while I turned in my completed homework and proceeded to try and teach them how it works the way I learned it. The teacher told me that it was supposed to be an assignment that we talked to our parents about, but a couple kids turned in the homework before they left lol

It really sucks because I want everybody to have fun but I’m really getting tired of plat - masters and higher just rolling quick play games, it’s getting even more annoying that I’m trying to actually do a ranked grind but the que times are getting longer and longer and it’s mostly because of this, people don’t wanna play competitive so they just go and dominate quick play

Honestly QP, Mystery Heros, is more fun than ever before, comp on the other hand, just a bunch of toxic people, who don't want to help the team, just Stat farm to call out who's got this and that, lose streak after lose streak on all rolls, becoming a big issue, diamond healer and I have low gold tanks and dps in my games, just annoying at this point

Hi everyone :)
KarQ I had extra-curricular activities. Like a lot of them. Off the top of my head I was in band, in cross country running, in drama club (sometimes), and oh yeah, competitive swimming 7 times a week + meets a lot of weekends. On the rare weeks where I didn't have an event (concert, running meet, play, swim meet) I got around 3 hours total of spare time during the week, and only one day during the weekend. I was not spending it on homework.
Nothing pissed me off more than when my teachers would pile on homework for March break, then give little Timmy exemptions because his family was going on holiday, but not me because I had training camp. I'd show them my schedule and they would think I was lying.
I was that guy who would get 90s on tests and never hand in any homework. I understand the need for validation (otherwise what the heck did you do it for?) but you gotta understand some of us ain't got time for that. My free time was way, way more precious than some kid's validation over homework.

Someone doesn’t know how Quick Play works 🫵 These aren’t bronze/silvers. Quick Play has the same matchmaking systems as comp.
@@loganpumfrey I think the fact that you just said they speaks volumes to the issue with overwatch, why is that a thing? What’s the point of even playing if you’re still going to throw people against each other who are the exact same skill level?
@@kapanthonythewitchdoctor8422 first of all quickplay does not have the same matchmaking as comp that why it's queue times are shorter. The range for skill is wider, but it is a range so that most of the time masters aren't in lobbies with bronze, because then quick play would be ass for bronze
