I love everyone is including Ashfur into the Ferncloud content. I just feel like loosing her own brother to his own crazy antics, would affect her. I’m just glad it’s being shown, not for Ashfur’s sake, but for Ferncloud who has gone through a lot (not just with her kits) and it needing to be recognized.
Poor Ferncloud. I feel like she gets dissed so much. People boil her down to being this gentle, sweet, useless nursery mom when her personality was really almost the complete polar opposite. Hell, as a kit she lost two littermates and as an apprentice she survived a fire, ran in front of a dog pack to avenge her mother, literally KILLED A MAN to avenge her father, and had to deal with her mentor poisoning her half-sister and getting exiled, and her immediate reaction to it was badmouth him to Fireheart. She was intense, man. She was also always very outspoken and opinionated in the third arc and has a lot of cute interactions with Dustpelt where she’s basically being the only cat he lets be strict on him. During the Great Battle, she’s shown going ham on anyone who enters the nursery and she also flings the protesting Brightheart into a bush and buries her in sticks to hide her, which was pretty funny to read. The last words we saw her say were ironically, “I won’t let anycat die!” So, yeah. She was actually super feisty and protective and she had, like, five different scenes throughout all the arcs where she was actually _complaining_ about having to stay with the kits and not fight. And to THINK that she got killed off because of fan complaints… we hate to see a girlboss winning smh
I might have gotten her confused with Ashpaw on the Bone part then. Her father is still listed as Whitestorm on the official wc family tree though as well as on the wiki!
@@imaginarylivingbody7154 It's not confirmed in the books that Jake and Tallstar are gay, that Freckle is in hell, that Graystripe's parents aren't brother and sister, etc. But it's all canon like the tree.
It still baffles me how the Erins had Silverstream, Mistystar, Crowfeather, Feathertail, Redtail and Onestar be part of the rescue patrol in a light in the mist when they have absolutely nothing to do with the conflict and everyone involved. Like, Ferncloud is _right there._ And not just Ferncloud. What about Cloudtail, their foster brother? Brindleface their mother? Hollyleaf who literally murdered Ashfur? Dustpelt who was his mentor? Birchfall who was his apprentice? Guys??? I’m glad the fandom is doing what the Erins aren’t brave enough to do
Yes, we do need more content of those two. I'd say Ferncloud's an interesting character, even though she was killed by the fans. Great job btw ! Keep it up !

I wonder...what did ferncloud feel when Ashfur was trapping her and the other starclan cats, I wonder what she thought of everything, and yeah I'm pretty sure Ashfur started to get annoyed by everyone around him. Small correction, she has no confirmed father and wasn’t part of the group of apprentices that killed Bone. She was helping Cinderpelt.
