It looks like we have some interesting videos coming from the Stuarts. It's kind of sad to see how cut up they are, but I know they'll come out OK and they'll be running again for everyone to enjoy. It looks could in the UK; it's cold across the Pond in RI, USA as well. Merry Christmas to Mick and his Crew.
Hello . I have followed your site for quite a while and have learned and enjoyed every moment. I have been measuring and taking hundreds of photos of a m3a1 general stuart tank for about 4 years now. My stuart that i have copied is complete and quite immaculate. It stands proudly at the entrance of the edenvale moth hall in johannesburg south africa. We also have a complete m4 sherman tank . I have had to guess some of the plate sizes as i cannot get to the edges on the inside of the tank, so after watching your latest video, i see the diff housing and front belly plate. Is it possible for you lads to measure the front belly plates size from its rear edge to the very front edge on the diff hosing. I would also like to know if it runs up to the edge of the end of the tank side wall lower point. I am attempting to build a 1/6 scale model out of 4mm aluminium plating so all the information i can get is a blessing for me. Thank you both.
Nice grab Mick, you planning on restoring both Stuarts or parting out one? Had I the means I wouldn't mind tearing around the backyard in one of those smaller tanks. :D
Nice Unimog 😉
I am surprised it's not green yet
The glorious Guiberson project has arrived. Remember I have a few parts and the factory manuals!
Thank you, I am looking forward to seeing it run too
Very cool.
A lot of work to do to get these 2 M3s back together.
Bit of WD40 lol

Thanks, I am back there Monday and will try and take some measurements for you
Where have these come from?
I was thinking the same thing...probably Australia like the other two.
They are for Australia
Have you got somewhere to store these tanks? I wouldn't leave them out on the open in the UK...not for too long, anyway...
Need to jet wash all them poisonous spiders out first lol
