I am so glad she stuck up for Carrie... I have been saying that for years. Male characters get to be so flawed and human and women get torn apart, I loved Carrie because of the mistakes she made. We can all be selfish at times and make the silliest of decisions in life, but we can also be great friends and show up to be loyal and honest in the ways we know how.

The character of Carrie isn’t criticized for making mistakes, but because of Sarah Jessica Parker’s acting - after season two, she basically started playing herself, with all the screeching, obsession with superficial things, brands, shoes, etc. That wasn’t Carrie anymore. This warped version was SJP turning the character into herself, because she’s simply not a good actress

LITERALLY TEARED UP MULTIPLE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE INTERVIEW. The way SJP truly listens and carefully considers before giving a response or her opinion is so refreshing. I love that she doesn't boast or truly realize how impactful she has been in pop culture and for women but literally her EYES LIGHT UP when speaking about her kids, family or friends and their accomplishments. She and this entire series were/are such a pivotal point in my life from late teens till now and also such a source of comfort or "home" during low periods. I could watch a million interviews with her and never grow tired!

Sex and the City shaped me in so many ways, I started watching the show my senior year in High School - same year the first movie came out. For my high school graduation, I saved every dime that year to go to New York and visit just to have a Sex and the City moment. It inspired me so much, my life and relationships would never be the same. No matter who you are, or where you live - you can always find a relatable moment to Carrie Bradshaw ❤
