I’ve gone back to using conditioners after shampooing and using leave in, oil and moisturizers. My hair was feeling too dry without it. I’ve not experienced any adverse effects.

Hello! I was a little confused about the “Not ready for water” part. Especially at 2 years six months but setting lotion being okay. I have Microlocs and water is always okay for misting… 🤔 Whatever the case, keep trusting the process and documenting your journey. I assure you that time and stages fly by! 😀

I can totally relate. My hair in the back grows much faster than the front or sides. The ends in the back are mostly locked at 9 months. While the top mostly has loose ends.

Wow I’m 3 days into my micro locs and I’ve washed it (too much product use to create the locs) and mist it with water and I’ve been okay. This is my second set of locs and I’ve always been able to wet them almost immediately. Your hair is beautiful though!
