not a huge deal but there’s actually a way to completely remove the hvac panel. underneath the knobs that you use to control the various air flows or temps there are super tiny screws you can remove giving you access to remove the hvac panel freely.
@@zaincars I've done it; replaced the face of the HVAC panel which was getting kind of "melty" looking. I will say: watch those tiny screws that come with the control knobs. It's so easy to lose them.

I did not know that one day when I replace the front panel as this one looks worse for wear ill have a try at it.
