Was talking with some people just the other day about the PROJECT branding and symbol. I can't think what else it would reasonably be except a tease for the skin line. Doesn't seem like placeholder text that accidentally shipped since they would've had to create the symbol for the font and everything.
Draggles (2XKO's Editor in Chief) has said they've teased stuff before, like the Yasuo reveal by having a Nightbringer Yasuo statue on the desk during the duo play reveal video. And that he wouldn't use that tactic again.
PROJECT also fits well since Yasuo, Ekko, and Jinx all have skins, and likely base roster champs like Vi & Katarina do as well.
Yea I would be very surprised if it wasn't directly teasing the skinline! Feels like borderline false advertising if not in my opinion. lol Also feels fun and a bit tongue-in-cheek for them to have Project be the first line after this game being known as Project-L for like 5 years
Hopefully they do a new character announcement soon of a character we don't know of, illaoi felt pretty underwhelming considering we've known about her for like 2 years really need an out of nowhere curveball to keep hype rolling
Yea it feels like it's been so long since we had a huge blowout of news, and especially they have been slow rolling actual character announcements. One of these days I have to imagine we get to the point of a new champ trailer every month if the game is a year away
One of the best things is hearing Sajam say that the training mode in 2XKO right now is better than training modes in full fighting games today
That is VERY good news. One of the most important things for the hardcore scene for sure. Fingers crossed we get the replay take over from Tekken 8 and Guilty Gear +R that would be amazing.

Very happy to see you still covering the news on 2XKO! I am curious as how they are going to handle an at home play test. The game could end up getting cracked like SF6 did and who knows what that can do to the game. Sf6 was fine, obviously, but it still impacted the game. They may wait closer to release for the at home test so they minimize that outcome.
Hey man, been a minute - And yessir - im here for the long haul. On the playtest I have that exact thought too, as much as I really want the thing ASAP I do hope it doesn't get cracked like SF. That would kinda suck imo.
This is weird this is the third time I have to go to your channel deliberately to see if there's any new uploads, youtube recommendeds and subscribed videos must be bugging out on my end.

Some cool stuff out of EVO Japan, Illoai coming together nicely and the game is looking cleaner and cleaner! How we feeling about this most recent build, and what do you all think is going to be the next playtest?
They need to get the ball rolling on character trailers. I know the game is still being tweaked but 2025 isn’t far away. They could be preparing for a summer release. We gotta reveal more features and roster picks for the game.
Yeah when they revealed the name and official social channels that's kind of where I thought they were headed. Much more dev vids, and like a champ trailer every month would be excellent but seems like we still aren't there yet after all.
Everytime new info coming from this game i just cannot wait to play it myself, i hope they tease a character in Combo Breaker or just something, can't wait to see more characters especially my boy Sett, can't wait to run around punching people with Mecha Kingdom Sett lol.

The level of polish just from one build to another is crazy.
Yea the game is super clean at this point imo. And it looks SOOOO sick in 4k or in person too, hard to imagine it's only gonna get better - but man im here for it.

Yea still wild. My best guess is holding out for that Arcane hype at this point even that is pretty soon for season 2 now. A jinx AND Vi trailer around Arcane 2 would be super sick.
My guess is they're saving her and potentially Vi for when Arcane 2 dropped (November this year)

My best guess would be the ones who have been teased before like Jinx or Katarina but if you want my personal hope/ bet.... Gotta be Vi or Sett. Would love to see it too
Yeah vi or sett would be more hype and badass imo cuz we already know jinx is coming and she's gonna shoot her pistol and stuff i kinda just wanna see something new
@@RealBigMitch It has been such a long time since a brand new champ reveal too. Was super cool how Yas was surprise dropped at EVO, Vs Illaoi which took forever to finally be playable for the public after her reveal
