Such a great review. I was blown away by MYTH despite having 3 of Dawesome's other synths. They're all great and nothing sounds exactly like them - but MYTH takes Peter's (Dawesome) unique take on synthesis to the next level. This is freedom and randomness in a synth without just having to throw dice - it's endless. Peter's also hands-on in the Discords and other support places with fixes and tips. What a gentleman.
Really, really nice. Thank you for your enlightening exploration - always great! For those who don't already have a large collection of the recent advanced synths, this is definitely a worthy buy. However, for me, even at the current intro discount, it's a wait-until-Black-Friday-to-catch-the-steepest-discount thing, because I already have MANY super sweet advanced synths (including four Dawesomes and Hyperion from Tracktion) and stellar sample libraries (like Soundpaint's Hybrid Cinema series, which you should definitely review - soooo high-quality, expansive, and versatile) that I probably won't have fully explored or taken advantage of before Black Friday sales season.
@@FoliaSound ABSOLUTELY, you should! It's quite awesome, which rhymes with Dawesome, but I don't think Hyperion is one of his creations. Regardless, Hyperion is amazing, and the expansion packs are really great as well.
Agreed, Pawel, MYTH always sounds quite warm and organic, and, may I say it, beautiful. There are so many softsynths full of harsh and ugly sounds, and this isn't one of them.
I tried the demo and once you go through the tutorials it's actually easy to use. The only thing keeping me from buying it is I already have too many plugins hehe! I would love to hear some of your productions...why don't you sneak one in once in awhile.🙂
I did give Dawesome Kult a try some time back but the cpu usage in Reason was somewhay taxing, not sure how it behaves in other daws. This however, could be promising, cpu heavy or not. The aound you made has very impressive depth and i can easily forsee some scoring potential for it. Comparison wise, i think the new spectral oscillator in VPS Avenger 2.0, along with its new reverbs could potentially replicate the sound engines we hear in Myth, but ultimately the workflow usually has the final say in what sounds are conjured. Great demonstration, i shall give this a try. My thanks.
I think it sounds great but i am not attracted to this pricing for a software synth that comes with the downside like most software that it will be a lot less worth in a pretty short period of time. 125 dollars intro and 179 later. For me after owning Dune 3 and Diva and some others i got tired of this pricing magnitudes. „one comp here 200 one eq there 240 one saturator 220“….. well at some point it would have to bring something unique to the table. I can get almost any synth sound i imagine with one of the others already tbh
@@FoliaSound Fair point also and i am not trying to undermine its skills with what i say. Let me put it differently. We already all have more than enough tools in our disposal that when combined with one another and with our own ideas then we can create results hard to achieve by anyone else and unique. Dont know if what i say makes sense but i feel like i understand what i am saying. But not important. So many view points so many different people. Rock on Pawl!

Heeey! What do you think about Myth? Have never tried Dawesome? Planning to do so? Lemme know down below!

Great introduction and sick sound you created!!
Great video man, Myth is such a rewarding instrument and I feel it has its own identity, such a treat to program!
Nice review. MYTH looks and sounds (d)awesome! ;-)

this synths pump my inspiration ❤️
Same here!
Super film - wlasnie kupiłem 😊 Pozdrawiam z UK!
Dawesome synths are Awesome 😎 I've bought Abyss, Love, Kult, Novum and soon will add Myth to my collection. Great review! 👏
Dawesome makes very nice synths. Have you tried Hyperion from Wavesequencer? Also sold by Tracktion. Another amazing synth. One of my favourites.
Nope, I'll try it then for sure!

Best feature is the drag and drop last note function
5:30 basically made me want it. I just love that exact type of sound
Hey there :) just wondering if you plan on testing the Myth 1.5 update in the future?
Great Show My friend Trying... it right now
It was fun watching you explore MYTH for the first time!

I'm still on the fence about it. I love Dawesome's Abyss, Love and Kult. Thinking of getting Novum before Myth, but this video might change my mind.
Looks and sounds like Additive Synthesis is making its return
it IS a mangling, and great synth.... of course i have it, like the other Dawesome soft synths....
Cool stuff! Keep goin! 👍
Myth can sound angelic and demonic and everything in between. Another great synth from Dawesome.
That's not bad.
I think it has good applications for Film scoring.
I need weird noises!

myth is amazing, sadly too expensive for me… it definitely sounds different than other synths, cool concept
Mam ich kilka narzędzi i zawsze jest wow Myth chciałem pominąć póki co ale jak udowodniłeś się nie da
Czyli jednak nie będzie końca świata?😂
Made a track with Myth in 20 minutes its so easy to get the best out of this synth its almost like cheating
If it feels like cheating, is it Still as satisfying?
