As a Russian person, the history of WW2 says nothing to me, because we were well taught history and read the real stories of our soldiers, and it's disgusting for me to play Western games about the 2nd World War, given that America and its allies rewrote history for the Western people, telling everyone that they won the war, although the soldier The USSR killed over 27 million, and America and England in a place a little more than a trillion, our ancestors went through pain, torture, hunger and violence. Read historical books from our country and you will understand what war is in full and find out why my country and our peoples hate Nazism so much. P.s. My favorite is how deliberately Western movie makers \ gamemakers are careless about our country, even though millions of Russian speakers have been living in America for many years. Crooked license plates on cars, Chechens and other Caucasian nations who look like Slavs and vice versa, every second Russian is called Ivan and other nonsense. Personally, I am offended by this attitude as a fan of Western culture, games, movies, comics and other things. I am generally named after the grief of an English writer's book :D. Although there is an analogue of my name in Russian.
You know call of Duty might be just a game but if you think about it all that is in the game happened in real life maybe not the exact way but there were still those similar sad moments and happy moments in real war.
