I mean i would use it for 1 colour backgrounds. I think it would be pretty nice to have that. Especially when painting big pieces it drives me crazy to roller paint a wall and there's always a huge mess.
It is obviously not made for multiple colours.
But i don't see any problem for backgrounds. Just removes all the mess and it's definitely way more comfortable than always needing to put it in paint and then roll it

That is a really genius product idea. Obviously its not gonna be perfect for street art where you need to switch colors because its designed for painting interior walls one solid color. It did exactly what it was supposed to. Seems like a great product to me.

I mean yeah but like even in the context of painting a wall. But I mean, how is this more or less messy, or even more efficient then just using a paint roller? This just a paint roller that costs 50 euro for an incredibly mild conveniene.

They need to sell the roller with the inner tube and metal part attached . That way you just remove the tip, wash out the handle part with water , put on the new tip, and fill with color. Simple and easy .
Washing the roller is similar to washing a regular roller with a few extra parts, unless you just throw out the regular roller every time . In which case a regular roller is easier but you spend more money on replacement rollers .

It's no fault of the product. It did what it said it would. The problem is that it is designed for using one or 2 colors to paint walls in your home, not to create art with.
HOWEVER with that said, it works perfectly to base coat the walls you work on. So if anything I'd say it'd still be a good tool for just covering the walls in a base color for your work! So I wouldn't say it's a waste, or isn't worth it. I feel it will come in handy.
Love to see you make vids! also bless you for taking the chance and showing off cool stuff all the time!

This may be me being dumb dumb brain but couldn’t you leave the roller on and just pump warm water through the same mechanism you pump the paint through while pumping it? Wouldn’t that push all the paint out as well or is the paint like oil based? (I know very little about paint) Obviously you would have to have like a “swatch” or something to wipe the paint away from the roller as you push the water through but would that not work?

It seems more like a product for construction/renovation than art. Ie painting a ceiling or a large room or multiple rooms the same color. Most likely a contractor would use sprayers to apply the paint but for someone looking to do it themselves it could make it less messy as long as they have no intention of keeping the paint roller afterwards... Which it sounds really costly for a single use item.
