I wonder how much streams Beatles and Led Zeppelin would have if Spotify existed since 1960s
They’d have trillions of streams that’s for sure
@@vitamindeeznutz4102 right with the trillions of people that would have access to Spotify+ less people existed back then so the numbers overall would be smaller than today
For The Beatles I'd imagine somewhere between 10-15 billion for their most popular release in the first 10 years or so (despite being as popular as they were, there were less people back then), and then between say 20 and 35 million streams today
@@samelliott97 yea generally the number would be far many times lower because for once less people existed and secondly even if the people had discovered internet at that time was accessible on the market and Spotify existed it’s just that a low amount would have access to the internet because computers were expensive and the secondly and mainly the would probably not pay for a music streaming service as mainly people didn’t do and instead watch RUclips videos which the same thing happend in real life because a lot of spotify users used to use RUclips instead.
@@vitamindeeznutz4102 There's only been an estimated 100-150 billion people in the history of the earth sooo
The Beatles Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Black Sabbath and many other classic rock bands are doing really well
Really surprised to not see a single Metallica album here.
The reason why is because the Black Album was released the same year as Nirvana’s Nevermind. 1991 was a year packed with massive albums. Then their 80s classics were up against albums that were massive at the time.

Kinda crazy to see how music completely changed after Nirvana. The genres of the albums after Nirvana are completely different than the ones before.
it's saddening me that Nirvana was inspired by Pixies, as well as many others like Radiohead, Weezer etc yet they are pretty unknown compared to others.
