I have to say, when I read the title of this video, these were not the kinds of books I expected to show up in it. Your boyfriend has excellent taste! I haven't read This is How You Lose the Time War yet (although I clearly need to!), but On a Sunbeam is one of my all time favourites. It's pretty rare that I genuinely feel represented by the queer rep in a book, but this one really made me feel seen, which is all the more impressive since the setting is literally so otherworldly. I recently read The Long Way To a Small Angry Planet on your recommendation, and was reminded of On a Sunbeam so much, I'd been meaning to recommend it to you. "Queer found family spaceship crew" is now my favourite setup for a sci-fi story, I could read variations of that forever. :)

You let your boyfriend pick your tbr..nice. Tell your boyfriend to pick SCARLETT LOST IN THE FIVE LANDS by Rajendra Sarilla. It's an amazing fantasy novel with powerful female characters and mind blowing war scenes. I read it on Kindle since paperback was not available in foreign countries.
