Live version of one of my favorite Bluegrass?Americana tunes, performed by my absolute favorite young American Roots band...formerly Mandolin Orange- Emily and Andrew added the dudes that have been playing with them for the past few years and changed the name of the group to Watchouse..love this band!
Thile is in his own universe so can be ignored, but what will he do about Sierra Hull? Seriously though, it is about the music, not the most notes played.
They are always rearranging their songs and changing the instrumentation; sometimes Emily is on fiddle on this one. We’re lucky to have all these great musicians to listen to. You’ll notice they are all pals who love to play with each other.
I've only just found this beauty.
Love the laid back vocals and the mandolin of course.
Many thanks for this. They just keep getting better, my favorite band on the planet right now.
Some tasty music
Pure artistry accompanied by pure joy in their faces. I am thankful.
Love this-been enjoying them for years.
If they play this song when I go see them in June I might just pass away
I hope the day comes that this amazing group tours in Canada!

Beautiful. Thanks!
so good.
I wish this music would become mainstream. Old Crow Medicine Show has been the only group to make younger people like bluegrass in recent times.
Is the instrumental section normally this long, or is Andrew trying to get some extra mandolin practice in so he can out-compete Thile? 🤔🤔
This style of music is all about the instrumental jam sections. I think.
They will occasionally transition into an instrumental fiddle tune when they play this live. I've seen them do it with Red Prairie Dawn before.

Wouldn't read anything malicious into it. Andrew wrote it, so he's free to improvise with Josh. Got a problem with that? (I sure don't.)
Sigh,………..
