Watch a full tutorial as a 2005 Dodge Charger / Magnum will have a new set of Alpine 6x9 inch SPE-6090 Type E Speakers installed. These speakers can be purchased online or at any local retail location. This vehicle fits any 6x9" speaker in the factory location on the driver side door only. The passenger side door takes a 6.5" speaker.
This video applies to Dodge Charger / Magnum models for years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. This video also includes how to remove the factory front door panel, speakers, wiring, and reinstallation.

I want to note the police package has 6x9 speakers on both side at least on my year model (2007)but still check before you buy the parts.
You didn't roll the window down see if the window will go all the way down and you didn't turn it on to see if the volume was as loud as it was before because if it's not supported by a amplifier then that amplifier volume will not come through that speaker so it'll have a weak sound
I have this problem..I did get the speaker wiring adapters. Is there something else I need to buy?
how is it possible that it has 2 different sizes? that would not make sence.
That would be a great question to ask Dodge. They only did it for a select set of models and years, so i would pull your door panel off or look through the grill to confirm which size you have before you purchase.
Hello, are all 2005 Dodge Magnum passenger side speakers 6.5" by default?
With an 06 charger srt8, would i have too purchase (1) 6x9 & (3) 6x5??
Honestly it depends. Sometimes, if you can get a flashlight and shine it through the speaker grill, you can verify which speaker system you have.

Can u only replace one door speaker in still be fine?
Sure, but generally when you buy a pair of speakers, you replace both.
Is there a recommended 6 x 9 for charger RT so it doesn’t interfere with the window bracket inside
Go to Crutchfield and enter your vehicle info and it will give you a big list of speakers to choose from that will fit without any issues.
Do you need to cut the two bubble pieces that the speaker is hitting on to make them fit?
Yep, unfortunately you do.
Yeah you need to cut the bubbles off and it went right in. The right door is different if I roll my window all the way down the window will not roll up unless I pull the door panel and remove speaker and roll up and reinstall. Perhaps I need a washer.. I just make sure I don't roll it down further then half way. Thanks guys!!

I have a 2005 dodge magnum and my drivers side speaker doesn’t work unless I turn the volume all the way up. Would that be the speaker or the radio?

My front door speakers are 6.5 instead of 6x9 .. ??
So before you cut the factory speaker plug off there was one set of factory wires attached. Then when you show that you have cut the plug off and wired the new one on, it shows that you have two sets of wires wired to the plug. What's the second set for? Also what about the 3.5" speakers in the dash, did you replace those?
The 2nd pair of wires is for the tweeter that's flush mounted next to the door handle.
There is actually a plug and play wire harnesses so you don't have to cut the factory plug off.

wait. so i own a 2008 dodge charger. so my driver side is a 6x9. and my front passenger side is a 6 and a half? just wanna make sure i understand
Depending on the year and the type of system you have, the front passenger door can vary between a 6.5 and a 6x9. I recommend checking through the speaker grille to see what size you currently have on both doors before you install your speakers.
