Respect the loyalty of her teammates in first match but doesn't anyone else see the humiliating message that success for a girl was seen as---"your opponent controlled the entire match, granted you the only points you got, but you didn't get pinned". The outcome seemed more the result of his uncertainty (maybe embarrassment)/inexperience in effecting a pin than any serious defensive skill on her part. Full credit to her for not buckling, she had phenomenal flexibility, but the cheers and applause made me cringe for her. Maybe it was her first competitive match...
as you can see from the boys' relatively untrained bodies, they aren't particularly strong and probably aren't the best in their age group. They have trouble turning the girls on their backs and pinning them. Girls mature earlier at that age and actually have an advantage with their broad pelvis and strong legs. Nevertheless, they didn't stand a chance in any of the fights, the boys had quickly freed themselves from bad positions, while the girls just fought for survival. These intersex fights don't make any sense at all
I can't imagine how difficult it must be for a father to see his daughter manhandled and inappropriately touched like that and can't do anything. Ultimately to see her pinned more often than not.
This stuff is hard to watch or look at. Hard to take seriously, too. Guys are constantly getting the female into the same pose, which conjures up the same thoughts in another situation.
@14:17... 20:20... It was hard to see , but he had a long, muscular, limb.. and when he was in position, like 18:18.... The female was helpless, he just position his muscle and pinned her, to the mat...
I've been looking all over RUclips and haven't been able to find anyting related to girls pinning Boys in competitive wrestling! Am I not looking in the right place?
@@tonyabram9119 it's very rare for a boy to lose to a girl, but when it does happen, it's uploaded with great howls of triumph. If the boys win, nobody cares. That's the double standard. People also want to see the rare, the exception. Dog bites man, ok, but man bites dog, that gets uploaded and that gets clicks. We all know what the reality is like, the average videos on YT don't show that, YT algorithm is biased.
Without a doubt, some of the weakest boys i have ever seen!! The coach is doing them an injustice by not enough strength training and cardo exercises!!!The boys can barely beat girls. Russian and eastern boys would humiliate them!!!!
@Tournel Henry You are right! Boys losing out to girls at this age especially in the lighter weight classes is much more common than they might think... Women develop faster, and at this age they are already practically formed physically and mentally, while boys will only reach their peak in some years. With this, the difference in physical strength in favor of the boys is minimal, and the girls have some points in their favor. Flexibility, low center of gravity and less muscle fatigue. It is no wonder that many girls have been winning mixed championships even though they are few in these competitions. Although I don't like to see girls and boys competing in this kind of sport together, I admit they are pretty competitive!
@Paulo Litoral Since 1984 girls have been competing with boys in high school wrestling. In that 38 year span only 10 girls have won boy's state wrestling tournaments. Eight at the 106 lb wt class, one at the 134 lb wt class and one at the 98 lb wt class. Eight 106 lb girls have won in 5586 state finals. That's a winning % of .0005.
@@marktevault57 Thank you for saying that so clearly. What is also shocking is how one-sided the media is. When the girl Heaven beat the boy Wilson States Finals in 2020, it was broadcast and celebrated for weeks. Of course, the match is still online now. When boy Wilson beat girl Heaven in 2021, it was no news. Try finding that online. You can still find it in the minutes of the finals. But not in journalistic articles. And the match cannot be found on YT either. If the hype had only referred to the fact that, unusually, a girl wins, one could understand the journalistic fuss, of course, the exception is more likely to be reported. The reports then went in the direction of general girl power and how girls are now advancing into male areas. This is where the intentional error takes place. The fact that what is increasingly reported because of its exceptional character is now becoming universal and should thus lose its exceptional character, according to the motto: what boys can do, girls can do too. No they can't. It is and will remain an exception. As you pointed out.
Times have changed boys don’t hold back anymore
Always brightens my day.
Last girl was totally immobilized by the boy. Wasn't pinned but totally beaten

I am still waiting for the Boy's team members to start singing "Goodnight Sweetheart" as soon as the girl goes to her back.
@ 9:40 two for the price of one.....the boy in the background defeated her teammate with a pin.
Just saw that! LOL 😆

Well they chose it. The fathers most likely supported their daughters.
First video link?
That girl in last match was a real fighter man, a lot of guys would have rolled if they were torque that hard.

Female egos destroyed
Either they lay flat or try to go offside

I saw one video where a girl defeated a boy, but she was in really good shape and great technique...
That’s weird because I have a harder time finding boys pinning girls. There are a lot more vids of girls pinning boys on you tube.
It’s rare and the girls that be pinning boys down are big and the boys are skinny and weak

yes, these boys are weak. But stronger than all the girls. Even weak boys defeat the girls
