$90 dollars for $68 dollars in gold. Don't care how many times RUclips reviewers say it but spot price for impure gold is not 24k price.
But it's the " experience" your paying for. Lolol!

    • @mandybrown7758
      @mandybrown7758 4 месяца назад +2

That's understandable but most gold buyers buy it as 24k

    • @mandybrown7758

Also he paid $68 for $90 in gold

@@mandybrown7758 Which makes them an unsavvy consumer. Also, try to sell placer to a local gold buyer for 24k. See if they sell you placer for 24k. Won't happen.
And no. Most gold buyers do not pay 24k price for placer gold. Only RUclipsrs, ebay buyers and the people that believe they can price something it isn't cuz they say so or because this reviewer or that reviewer says so. No. In fact as a seller you can find yourself in
deepsheet trying to misrepresent precious metal purity. By selling at 24k price the inference is clear.
Again, this is a RUclips thing and because it benefits reviewers, many of which eventually start selling paydirt, they too will echo the 24k price because the profit margin can be far better than 18k or 22k.
No legitimate outlet will tell you placer is 24k and charge you that price. I know multiple places that will sell me placer at 18 to 22k.
Ya just call em up and they'll quote you the price with a few dollars added for their profit.
People gettin' played and the only ones advocating 24k price are those making the money off the markup.
There are paydirt sellers out there that know this, never mention 24k and generally add more gold to create high ROI bags.
Here, 18k gold which is $56 per gram,
      22k $65 per gram
I sell you 3 grams of 18k which you value at 24k price, I made $60 off the top then the markup in price adds a bit more gravy to the pot because I know you'll value it on your gold calc as 24k.
So this way I'm getting paid twice off every single gram you buy at that price.
Again, nobody pays 24k for placer gold except RUclipsrs just because you buy it for that price doesn't mean others will.
Great link for breaking down market prices.

Good luck. Have fun and don't mind me.

@@mandybrown7758 lolol! No. He paid spot for placer gold. Which is again, $56 bucks for 18k and up to $67 dollars for 22k.
Again, you just proved my point.
Spot price is not 24k for unrefined gold. PERIOD!
The markup in price to 24k is irrelevant to the actual price of the gold lolol!
That's the additional profit usually made by the seller.
Your perspective is truly enlightening. Lol.
In one sentence you validated everything I'm saying.
      $65 dollars in gold value doesn't equate to a $90 dollar markup.lol.
If it's 18k then the seller made $10 bucks off a gram. Not bad. Your trying to add the $22 dollar difference onto the value of the gold. Lol. No. That's the pure profit markup from the seller.
Had this reviewer paid the $90 bucks the seller would have made around $33 -$38 bucks a gram!
You wanna pay that there is certainly nobody stopping you lol.
Again, he paid around $10 bucks over spot. I'm interested in knowing the purity.
Sorry, not trying to be rude but I guarantee you I know what im talking about.
Having a RUclips channel does not always equate to a complete understanding of an industry.
We actually mine and sell our gold on the real market with some sales online. We know what we're talking about.
      Thanks for insight tho.
      Be well.
      No malice intended.
Makes zero sense why consumers wouldn't want to buy their gold a bit closer to the a real value without insane markups cuz somebody told you it's worth 24k.
      To each their own.
