I feel the pain of Amanda's family -- My father's was murdered 25 years ago and the case was never solve!! It's so hard to carry on with life's as there is no closure! Though I forgave the murderers yet I always want to know why emptied 5 full magazines of AK 47 on his body? Why written " so sorry sir' on a piece of paper!!! Why! The question of 'why' has an unlimited pain and like a vaccum of staring into an enormous empty space in complete darkness - Just longing for a ray of hope! Shalom!
DNA there had to have been some left behind and there are new companies that can retrieve even the smallest most contaminated evidence at least have in in the system, for hope of finding the person or persons whom did this to this child.

This shouldn't happen to any little girl, but we seem to have far more unsolved Indigenous murders than other unsolved 'mysteries' or cases. I am turning 62 and while I have no grandchildren, l think that this could be anybody's little granddaughter. There is nothing you wouldn't do to find her murderer. The Cook Family *deserves* answers because, yes, 21 years has been faaaaar too long a wait already. And far too long for this little girl's death to not be solved. Poor little girl. She was 14 … at 14 I was going into the city to meet up with my friends and even had part time work… going to school & home on the bus … even staying at home alone for a few hours… she was also going back to her dad every so often.
She wasn't alone she was with family when you're with family you don't think it'll happen to you my dad hates himself still when he thinks about her that was my aunt
