@@davidsbirdroom aye not to bad David. Hospital for cameras on Friday morning so fingers crossed that won’t be bad news. Your birds are looking well mate a credit to you for results at the shows. Great set up I like them new double breeders come flight cages
Enjoyed your video, your enthusiasm for the hobby, along with all the bird keeping channels I'm subscribed to, keeps me motivated and upbeat, although I don't keep as many birds as I used to, I'm still keeping my hand in, looking forward to the new season ahead. Cheers David. 🍺🍺. Mark.
Hi David, I presume you’ve kept birds for many a year. Serious question, do you think that the standard for most birds is getting too big? I see Greenfinches on the show bench and they just look too big. Breast and flank feathers sticking out. Look obese. Thankfully Siskins and Redpolls haven’t hit this trend yet. Seems that size is overcoming colour.
Hi Rob 👋 yes i have kept and showed birds a long time now. I can agree that the Greenfinch was subject in the past to size and colour and feather was lost. However i have seen a recent trend in birds coming back down in size with Colour and feather improving. Thankfully as you mentioned the siskin and Redpoll have not got oversized and pood poor colour. Although the lesser Redpoll are causing a bit of confusion regarding colour. But i believe this will get sorted. Thanks for your kind words and comments 😊
Another great show david

Hi. Loves your videos. But it would be helpful to watch one about handling and moving the birds around
Thanks, Lee, for your suggestion. I will have a look at doing a show on these matters.
Hi Lee check out my latest show. Moving and Handling my birds 🐦
By the way I think your birds are fantastic.
Thank You 😊
