It's 2k's fault. This isn't hard. Last year was way too fast. Pacing this year was good until season 4. The releases on the new cards need to be comparable to the existing cards. Also how fast is this going to ramp up to 99's going to be now?
I like how the pacing is so far 2k. I feel like none of these cards are op but their are cards that can deadly in the right hands. Every position seems evenly balanced. I feel like people who need cards with the best sig's and jump shots are trash at the game.
i feel like this year has the exact same pacing as 2k22... in 2k22 the first card with changed sigs (im talking about having sigs changed compared to a previous card of that player, not a first timer who just happen to get juiced sigs like a terry d (in 2k22) or a tim thomas ricky davis type from last year) was the power within kawhi, scottie and all the cards in that set, which dropped on the 25th of february that year... yes badges weren't as gatekept as they are now, and yes we had more cards with good dribble styles, dribble sigs and releases on quick by default (think of that years glitched klay for example)... Aldo i would like to point out that most releases on normal felt more usable back in 2k22 at least in my opinon, for example i ran galaxy opal KD for the longest time in 2k22 and he had his release on normal, aldo at least 2k gave him shifty... also i would like to point out that the power creep in 22 felt a bit more balanced than this year... but honestly i think it just boils down to the fact that these are different games and i do agree that we should probably start to see peoples releases bumped up... but i would also like to say that i much prefer this than the 6'10 point guard movement with a park release and borderline invincible stats releasing in the first week of november (still love you tim)
Agree on 22. I think the difference is the gap between cards. Like Bird didn't have fast release in 22 but he wasn't unusable. This year, it's even about putting guys on quick so much as making existing cards comparable with cards from November, let alone better.
I think the pacing is fine. We don't need 90+ on everything cards in January or February. Remember last year when invincibles and end games were everywhere and everyone was complaining how the cards are the exact same, same stats and animations, height and weight being the only different thing between them? Yeah, 2K23 got repetitive in March or April and was dead after that because no content drop brought anything really new or diverse. We don't need quick releases in January. Even on normal TMac and Dr J for example are very quick releases. Lets enjoy it when our cards resemble their real life counterparts atleast somewhat. You all will have all summer long to use the invincibles and endgames which are basically all the same cards with a different cover.
That’s the point of changing sigs you have diversity all over with changing nothing bad cards going be be bad without a jump shot change you can’t ask for slow pacing but then want cards that are good
The worst part is how overpriced they are to, I used to get excited to try out most if not every card in a new set and then if I didn’t like it I would sell it back and lose just a bit of mt but now if you buy a card you have to commit to it or else you’re losing so much mt, not so much for the ruby and amethyst anymore but for the current diamond and pink diamonds you’re getting robbed if you try to sell it back right away
Meh I couldn't care less about anything other then the gameplay being insanely boring the constant foul shots got me not even trying to contest shots might as well be harden fans 2k24
I think we wouldn’t care this much about pacing if there was an ACTION HOUSE. Nobody can try any new cards Becuz they know they’ll lose 60%. This makes ppl not want to try new cards especially since most budget cards are more expensive than they would be in the AH. We are bored
I don’t understand why you want every card to have the same sigs that are all the best sigs in the game. It makes the games so boring, I hope 2k doesn’t change sigs so everyone doesn’t feel the exact same, yeah maybe a few of the absolutely terrible ones but giving everyone the same is so boring
@@marcinwypychowski9575 maybe not in this video but when he talks about cards he says they are “scrubs” because they have “bum sigs” suggesting why release cards that don’t have the best sigs, he’s also talking about old 2k and how at this point they changed sigs to have the best ones so he kinda is talking about what I said, I like DBG, he’s done a lot for the 2k community but somethings I disagree with him that’s all, I prefer cards to feel different. The big thing is you could buy $500k MT for like $15 bucks so it was so much less of a cost to us where as now u have to drop at least $50 to get the good cards. Personally I’ve spent a lot on 2k this year compared to previous years
People who are happy with pacing have to be stupid. You want normal cards and pacing, play mycareer. We are so far behind this year on other years. We are going to get gods soon out of nowhere

no its not. why do you guys want perfect stats and meta jumpshots on quick before february when there’s still 6 months of the game left… 2k is doing good
It's not about having meta jumpshots, just decent ones that aren't actively bad. New cards shouldn't be worse than cards that came out two months ago. Just bump up the bad animations to average. That's all.
Dbg just feinding for content at this point. Gets the game wrong in the title and thumbnail and u know if they had the game with a faster power creep he'd still be conplaining
I’ll never understand why y’all are happy with 2k giving us shit. Y’all are the ones that’ll say be grateful for what we got… when we all paid full price. We don’t have to be grateful for ANYTHING
I’m cool with pacing, but these cards suck. They aren’t fun to use. The trash cards paired with no Auction House is a god awful combo. I hope MyTeam isn’t like this next year. Could used to make so much MT with the AH, now I gotta play all day with these unfun garbage cards just so I can get more unfun garbage cards.
Last year DBG complained that pacing is too fast.
This year is too slow.
It's ok.
No way! People was literally complaining about Tim Thomas n Kareem last year in NOVEMBER. It’s the community’s fault
Tim Thomas still amazing this year lmao I used his ruby to finish tto

Halfway through the season. Pace kinda matches real life. But I’m itching for more juiced cards. Hopefully march madness gets crazy

I’ve had a HOF limitless badge since season 1
To this day the only card I can add it to is ruby Giannis

Have zero issues with slow walking sugs/releases. Have a MAJOR problem (and so should you) the lack of diversity in cards. It's the SAME names.
