Like the idea of the spare hood was on a structure fire recently and thought I had dropped mine at the station and couldn’t find it but luckily it fell inside the engine
man i wish my dept, gave us mask with oxygen. all we have is a face shields and no hoods. yeah we went to a structure this morning man it was rough lung of smoke trying not to breath while you trying to put it out yeah come to find out the house had asbestos siding on it, a fiber glass boat burning and smoking real good and what ever else that we didn't see. mainly i'm trying to find out what we need cause they gave us like little to nothing and said there you go good luck.
I carry a Wedge It too (actually sits on the back of my helmet using my goggle strap). Good stuff brother. Appreciate you posting content.

I secure my hood with my helmet straps but it does take a few seconds to unclip
