Jimin and Namjoon are actually super closer and I know all of them are but a lot of people like to make it seem like Joon is that distant brother but I put together a compilation of videos between the two of them and it pretty much shows how Jimin goes to him for guidance. Promise is an inside thing between them and it’s honestly super adorable. You can see Namjoon standing behind Jimin with his pinkies intertwined whenever Jimin promotes his song Promise. Namjoon told Jimin that lightness and darkness are all apart of him and to be his own light. They’re so pure, honestly.

About their production process: They talk about it a lot and RM has done VLive 'behind' segments about all the recent albums to explain the writing, production process and meaning. The way I understand it (especially from this excellent 'conversation' at the Grammy Museum facebook.com/watch/?v=498570413954851) is that they consider all BTS members and their BigHit staff as a team of equal "colleagues", who all contribute. The members (especially those four who have their own studios) produce guide versions, their rap parts and other parts of the songs in their own studios and so do the other staff members and then it all comes together in the main studios. Apparently, it's not a question of ego but of quality: in the end they choose whatever parts they think suit the track best, regardless of who wrote/produced it. So on their regular albums there aren't really any tracks that don't have several people in the credits. (It's different for their special releases and their individual solo work). Obviously, with some tracks certain people have contributed more, so they might be considered 'their' songs, but the song itself will always have gone through the complete in-house production process. Also, the rappers write their own lyrics and RM writes almost all of the other lyrics. Which is very important, because the lyrics are one of the main reasons why the fans love BTS so much.
