@VanessaChoclateKiss! Hi! Thank you. Vellum is a transluscent (milky) paper or card stock. In wedding invitations, you often find a piece of vellum paper inside, not attached, just for pretty. Stamping Smiles, Shelly
Hi! Thank you! Me too. I do not naturally apply much pressure when writing, etc. While I loved the look, with the stylus, it was pure work. You're welcome! Stamping Smiles, Shelly
This is very pretty I remember when we had to do all that with a stylus yow what alot of work. Yours is much better than what I used to make. thank for sharing.
I did it this am and the vellum tore in a couple places. Did I do something wrong? And it is so hard to keep the color within the lines. Lol. Thanks, Faith
FAITH RALPH Hi! Try your sandwich on no tabs. It will apply less pressure. Let me know how it works for you. When coloring the back of the vellum card stock, you do not need to be perfectly within the lines. Going outside the lines will resemble going outside the lines when watercoloring. Stamping Smiles, Shelly
Thank you for the tip! Since making this video I found Fantasix. They're also great for precision www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WWIJYA/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000WWIJYA&linkCode=as2&tag=stampsmile08-20&linkId=YVZIYUJUXFZPKH5K
Thank you! I purchased my Tombow Glue from Stampin' Up! I don't know if Michael's carries it or not, but wouldn't be surprised if they did. www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=110755&dbwsdemoid=33637

Hello. I'm new to this. I got a BigKick for Christmas and I'm wondering what happens if you put color on the embossing folder then insert the vellum and put it through the machine? Has anyone tried this?
+Tracy Ruth Hi there, you probably already found out your answer, but yes, people do apply color to folders, then run the card through. Just search above in the box for "applying color to embossing folders." Enjoy your journey ♥
FAITH RALPH Hi! I did wonder if you were using vellum paper or vellum card stock. I used Stampin' Up! Vellum Card Stock. The difference in the weight is significant. www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=101856&dbwsdemoid=33637

Hi! Try your sandwich on no tabs. It will apply less pressure. Let me know how it works for you.
stampinsmiles I did it on no tabs the first time. I am wondering if it is because I am using a too thin vellum? Maybe I need a thicker vellum?
FAITH RALPH Hi! I did wonder if you were using vellum paper or vellum card stock. I used Stampin' Up! Vellum Card Stock. The difference in the weight is significant. www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=101856&dbwsdemoid=33637
I have used both...do you roll through once or twice
I rolled twice and I definitely won't do that again. I am going to try to get the card stock vellum.
