Yes, any IN or STR character that has critical hit
like for example fujitora/Kizaru legend. He's there only to remove DEF UP.
So you can also use the DEX F2P Oden with F2P Hyogoro as support and use his special on stage 3

can i replace shawk with the new wb oden? i feel like he's only there for stage 2 removal of DEF UP and stuff in boss stage isnt that important xd or is he essential

Yes, he's there only for DEF UP since he has 100% chance critical hit when you land a perfect.
So WB/Oden works
same as any INT/STR Character that has critical hit
