Earthworms form a major part of the badger's diet, but brock will take almost anything edible that is available. Here a badger pulls the carcass of a baby rabbit from a sett entrance, and devours it.
(Badgers and rabbits often live in the same tunnel system, but it's unusual to see a badger take a rabbit in this way).
