  • We welcome you in Jesus name to worship with us at our 8:30 AM Sunday Eucharist as we celebrate the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels. Father Samuel David Zumwalt preaches, “Holy Keys: Do Not Fear” (Daniel 10:10-14; 12:1-3). The color of the day is white, which signifies the holiness and joy of eternal life with the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads the singing of joyous hymns: “Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven” (Entrance); “Jesus, Brightness of the Father” (Hymn of the Day); “Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones” (Recessional). Our Sunday distribution hymns are: “Before the Marvel of this Night”; “Holy God, We Praise Your Name”; “God Who Made the Earth and Heaven.”
Special music for the weekend: The prelude “Faithfulness” (Bock); Dr. Joe Huppmann sings at the offering “How Great Thou Art” (Hine); The postlude “Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones” (Hustad). On Sunday morning, Lani Beuerman (piano) and Bill Glisson (organ) play duets at the prelude and postlude.
