Very nice work! It never occurred to me to solder the buck converter directly on to the PCB. Great idea!
Thank You
Very neatly done sir. I like the clean interface for an easy integration. The whole system looked well organized.
Thank You dear
I hope someone puts together multiple open source projects into an all in one unit. mppt charge controller, inverter, and ac battery charging
Nice idea bro
Just put them in a box together, all you need is isolator circuits.
This is a really cool project.
Only makers can relate to how difficult this is 4:56
Thank you my friend 😊
@@opengreenenergy Welcome brother.
use cutters instead to make it easy
Sir, you deserve a lot more than 48K views.
Thank You. Glad you think so 🙏
If I want to increase my voltage in input sec what are changes can do
Open Green Energy: 4:56
Me: Standing ovation
Nice project but I would prefer either MQTT or Home Assistant which would make it all flexible.
Thank You 😊
To implement MQTT or Home Assistant, no need of any changes in hardware, only I have to modify the code. It is my to do list. Keep in touch, I will update after modifications.
@@opengreenenergy Please change or add the mqtt to the code
Hello sir please could you help me build this prototype? Im not an electronic guy. But I do want to build this thing. Can we connect so I could explain it to me? thanks
Great project! I would also appreciate the code changes necessary to connect to Home Assistant. Thanks for sharing this project!
i have made a sunspec compliant version which retrieve data over modbus over tcp which is more accurate. you can forward the data of the esp8266 with json.
please make 150 volt 80 amp curent solar input for 48 volt battery
hi sir, if i want change using ACS712 current sensor, where i need to connect the vout at the ESP32 board pin? and also the temperature sensor vout
Thats really good, very neatly done.
Very nice system
Thank You
Nice project, I think this will be my next project.
where do I get the pcb from?
Okay. Good video, I guess. However, I am confused about which wires from the panel and the controller goes to this unit. I know two wires, positive and negative from the panel setup are connected to the charge controller, ordinarily and after having connected the correct poles from the battery setup. So, where does this monitoring unit come in? How does one connect to the setup for adequate monitoring?
Please change or add the mqtt to the code
Thanks for the video
It's my pleasure.
do you make the v2.0 already done soldered? ... id be interested in buying im not good at soldering
As someone new to this field, I'm eager to set up solar panels and seek companies that offer devices enabling real-time tracking of my solar panel electricity production through an app or monitoring system. I'm curious about the reliability of these companies and the quality of their products-any guidance or recommendations would be immensely appreciated.
I want to make data logger for prototype floating solar system
Very interesting and amezing project
Best video bbro with use your pcb Suggest best current sensor for 50 amps for DC current Is that can be soldered to your pcb
Very cool
Thank You.
I hope you will sell that divice online. And i will order first. 🙏🙏🙏✌️✌️✌️
Can I to controll with the solar controller example for your project. Thanks
Very good.
Thank you
sir may i know why there are four wires at solar?
Very Cool, do you have an idea on how to make something like this, that is able to handle 36V and 60A continuously?
Can you please enable English subtitles in the video? Thanks for sharing !
Dear sir, I need Input Voltage =150 volt, Current - 120 Amp. Can you make for me...? I will Buy it from you.
How did you externally aliment your esp without connecting it to your pc. How did you compile the code ??
For instance i will use 5-6 260 -300w panel and maybe a couple of 15s4p 18650 power banks/batteries will the charge controller can handle?
Hello ,how can i use my ESP8266 with just one ADC pin ( i need to ADC pins, one for current Sensor and voltage sensore)
Nice project
Excellent video.... What arduino sketch did you use?
I'm looking for a kind of wireless monitoring device like a "traffic light" with coloured LEDs. Based on the led colour, i.e. green that the PV production is bigger than the house consumption, red the opposite,... So just seeing the light color, and without the need of reading any parameter in the smartphone, o display in the wall,... Anyone knows if this device exists?
If i want to increase voltage which all part i need to change in the code
Excellent !!
Good work...thanks
Can you try to make the monitoring using the inbuilt functions of EPEver tracer controller?
Would there be any way to allow this to monitor up to 160v?
Hi,. I am having off grid solar system where i would like to monitor solar power generation, battery volt, battery charge discharge current, house load / usage power, DG consumption etc.. have you done any such projects that supports multiple equipment/resources remote monitoring?? Please give me a link
Hello thak you for this great project
A panel of 10W (Voc=21.6V and Isc=0.62A ) can be used in this project?
Yes
@@opengreenenergy thank you
I have a doubt, you set the Buck Converter XL7015 to 5v but the ESP 32 resis that 5v? and if is this true wich pin you use too. Thnx for the infromation and the proyect looks amazing
Yes, you have to connect the 5V to ESP32 board Vin Pin.The onboard voltage regulator step down the voltage to 3.3V .
@@opengreenenergy it´s me again hahaha, im working on a similar circuit with some improvements to adapt it to our system.
The doubt that i have is how you regulate the linear scale of the analog input of the ESP-32 to 0~3.3V from the current sensor ACS712 that, as far as I know, generates a voltage from 0V to 5V. I can imagine that after the signal of the current sensor you need a voltage divider to adecuate the analog scale. If you have any tips I would appreciate it
do you happen to know where to get an app for solar controller's that use IR. I found lots of them for bluetooth or WiFi..... but my controller uses IR flashing. Came with an IR remote device to connect to phone... but no info on where or what app to get?
thank you in advance.
can we use solar VFD drive to run electric rotavator or electric brush cutter..
I have no experience.
It's a great video, do you know if there is any way to use FT08 RC 150A to be able to add an ESP32 module to it, I will try to make your meter but my knowledge of electronics and English are very basic.
Great job, Can I buy this system?
Sir, I am unable to link blynk with esp32 . Blynk 2.0 doesn't scan the QR you gave , it says invalid token . What to do now ?
With such a good project here with your video, maybe you should make these and sell on eBay.
Do you have a complete box for sale?
plz design a battery less mppt based multipurpose battery charger with usb for 12v 50w panel
Super Work sir, I have 5kva Solar Inverter, can we connect mobile monitoring system for existing inverter, you reply is appreciateble.
Good work sir. Can you tell me the value of the résistor for 60 volts
Hi how did you make the project box
Are you making and selling this product as I have no knowledge of ESP32. Please let me know.
Great!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Do you make this device for sale? I need to purchase 3. How can we make this transaction?
this project can use into Electricity Energy Meter?
Hello Sir. ACS723LLCTR-20AU-T @ lcsc and other not have. Can replace with ACS723LLCTR-20AB-T or ACS723LLCTR-40AB-T?
i tried but esp 32 not booting
Can I use it for 50W panel? I also have mppt . Can I use mppt with it?
hello friend! the QR code does not work, how can I clone?
hello sir, can we use these iot systems to monitoring 1 kwp solar systems?
Nice... 👍
Hey why does not you intrigate this system with grafana
I am waiting bro!
Hi, what's the update frequency of the parameters? How fast are you able to set it? Thanks.
When i use voltage divider to step down 5V to 3.3V in current sensor , its give me wrong value without any load , about 27A???? What is the solution? please I have all components but i stuck in this situation...
did you solve the issue?
How to increase Amp ?
Nice work, What is the dimension of PCB?
Can you share your pcb design so I don't need to design it. I will order the pcb from same place.
Or can you send me the price for complete kit with the 3d printed box.
I am in Mumbai, India.
Sir,
All the files are available on my project page. The links are given in the video description.
Can I use a Rasberry Pi for this project?
can i please get the link to download the PCB Gerber file?
how about using ACS712 for current and ESP8266 not 32?
Yes, you can done it by acs712 and ewp8266
@jacekf have you trying to build this project with ACS712 (20A) and ESP8266
Can your pcb be ordered from jlcpcb? Congratulations and thank you
Can someone please tell me how much would such a system cost?
Hi sir. I'm interested in buying this product to track my solar power generation on my offline solar system. Want wifi card to connect to wireless router to view data remotely
Congrats ! I got a question about PWM Solar Charge Controller V2.02.In code section, I cant download Liquid Crystal I2C library, can you share the new link ?
and also i got error about POSITIV declaration.
How about voltage sensor ?
A voltage divider network is used to measure the voltage.
@@opengreenenergy thanks nice project. 👍
Bro I tried to order pcbs but the shipping cost is too high is there a way to ship …? With less charges
rar file in instructable is corrupt or not opening
hi i don't have acs723 chip, i can use type ACS712ELCTR-30A, thanks so much
Hello,the project work with ACS712?
Where can i get the PCB layout?
But maximum voltage support is only 24v, i have modules of 38 -40 voltage
It can support voltage up to 60V. I have used 24V as per my requirement. You have to use the different values of resistors in the voltage divider as per your solar panel open circuit voltage.
@@opengreenenergy oho nice, could you make for me of 60v and courier me ,i am willing to pay the price
@@jayanarayan I am extremely sorry.
I can't do that.
@@opengreenenergy ok, no problem 👍👍
Yes 👍
Do you sell this after completing
Can this be used for huge solar system? Like 24 solar panels?
No dear, you can use this concept.
@@opengreenenergy what needs to change. Let lecture us please
Are you sell for individuals use
can u share new qr code of blynk clone, given qr code is not applicable for new blynk iot app
Plz share link for purchase
I badly need one. Will you sell this product to me?
Can you make this system for me ?
Why don't you explain the code ?
Can you please make it for me?
can you write a coder for me
where can I buy this system?
how accurate the current measurement is?
When I built a similar design to this , but was a mppt charge controller. You simply put a parameter to add or take away and then calibrate the unit with a set voltage and then adjust to get it spot on... Takes a while I think the video I did (or code) had the math on how to do it.
Voltage /1024 X gets the result... something like that..
Where is the code??
👌👌👌👌
