He's done that enough for most people's lifetimes. Try reading about him. I suggest you sit down before you do. lol.

@@davidthom7127 Like I said. Go read about him yourself. This was a video about reading, so that's what he spoke to. He.s been shot at, bombarded, been Governor of an Afghan Province, and an Iraqi Province, talked down crazed rioters, talked his way out of a Taliban assassination, walked 6,000 miles alone across Iran Pakistan, and Afghanistan at the time of 9/11, helped rebuild the historic centre of Kabul - outside the 'green zone', written two books and run a successful charity in Afghanistan too, and been a lecturer at Harvard. And all that by the age of 36. I think he's experienced a bit of life, don't you? Books and covers dear boy. Never judge one by the other.
ps. whoops, not governor in Afghanistan, just his charity and his walk across it. He has an OBE from his very difficult time in Iraq, spent often under siege.

David Thom He has experienced a lot. Read his book "The places in between" - it is an amazing one about his journey on foot across Afghanistan.
