Super Mario Party Jamboree looks less like "Super Mario Party 2" and more like Superstars with more new stuff. No partners, no personal dice or 1-6 defaults, MORE and more INTERESTING levels. Which is good. Can't wait for some new Party Crashers when this comes out.
And I'm HOPING that they do what I hoped they would've done with Superstars but didn't, extend the game's life by adding new and/or returning boards with DLC or, even more hopefully, free updates. A big ask, but I have hope.

I’m surprised at how negative Vernias was at first at the reveal of Super Mario Party Jamboree. Just because it’s a sequel to Super Mario Party, doesn’t mean it’s automatically bad. Believe it or not, not every single thing from Super Mario Party was bad jesus.
It was a nice return to form after all the experimenting. Sure it wasn't the most content or aestheticialy pleasing but it at least felt like original mario party
Honestly the main problem with SMP was the boards and that seems to be fixed here already

Vernias, this game seems more like Superstars with Motion Controls than anything else. So it shouldn't be horrible for you. I hope you see this, and get some peace of mind.

Now that Nick mentioned about being the Darkling again if he stayed last make me imagined if they decide to made a new game where the gimmick of the Darkling can be only used once by staying last, and if you try to do it again, they will turn you into a random monster with no stat change, making you unavailable to play until somebody defeats you.

I know Super Mario Party wasn’t all that great, but does them calling the new game “Super Mario Party Jamboree” mean it’s going to be exactly like Super Mario Party? Honestly the way I saw it was just them keeping the naming sequence as just rebranding Mario Party to Super Mario Party in name only. I mean what do I know, there could be stuff that proves what I said to be simply wrong.
I figured you would be hyped about the new Mario Party game. Although I think you should have more faith in it, cuz Super Mario Party wasn't that bad. And this new one looks extremely well done.
I don’t think the Mario Party is going to be bad, I think the “Super” in the name is just to make it sell better since Super Mario Party sold a fortune.
