I noticed the sheep ‘flinched’ when touched gently. Mine does that too. He loves to be pet, scratched and loved on but he always flinches. Is there a reason for that? My Leicesters are quite calm and gentle despite their enormous size. I know you do Lincolns..I tried to start. Flock but got ‘fleeced’ by an unscrupulous seller so I went with Leicesters. Thanks for any insight on the ‘flinching thing’.
@@jjohnsengraciesmom >I found someone who advertised that they had the breed and contacted them by phone and it sounded very legit. I asked if they took a deposit over the phone and the balance on delivery and they hesitated. Then they contacted me by email asking for me to pay by wire…well…NOBODY does business that way so I called them back. After many assurances they shifted and told me they would take Amazon Gift Cards! I had cash in hand to send but that stopped me cold. That is the epitome of SCAM!!!! I then called the BBB in their town and asked if they were a real business…they never heard of them. I then called a breeder that I knew (different breed) in that area of Texas…NEVER heard of them…and this was supposed to have been a major livestock handler with several breeds internationally. So I knew I’d been had. I never sent a dime. If they can’t show you live sheep by video and take standard payments with a delivery balance…then they aren’t REAL!
