Guys I may be wrong about this but please hear (read)me out first: I think all of the members were having an extremely hard time at the beginning of the year, as Suga said himself once that he cried after winning at the AMA's not because he had reached his dream but because of the pressure and expectations they would now have upon them and it is completely true that all of them were having a hard time and to be honest they never hid it that much, we got glimpses of that hardship many times,but what I'm trying to say is what if taekook were the first ones to suggest the disbanding or simply to say they can't take it anymore? Or maybe Tae? Because of the way he reacted and the way both of them reacted but of course you can say it is normal to react that way, and you can say all of them were crying (and all of us were too💔😭) but when you connect the dots -remember how suga had sent a message at the beginning of the year only to tae and kook? A long message with more than 20 sentences (which Jin said he hasn't exchanged in text with suga since debut🤣) and he ended the message with 'I love you' in both cases!!which was something rare for suga to say that's why they were so surprised(of course I'm not saying he never says it it's just we know how suga is a taundere tries to appear toughbut is a softie inside, so it must have been easier for him to say all that through text) ..Immediately when tae broke down and kook comforted him I thought about suga's message! What if Tae and Kook were the ones who really realy couldn't take it anymore and wanted to leave so then all of them had the talk on whether to continue or not?! 😭😭😭they did have a lot of pressure on them at the end of last year, especially after they disappeared at MAMA and people assumed they had hickeys when they came back! Yoongi himself has said several times that he thought about leaving music because the pressure became too much. So it would assume he would also have been one thinking of leaving. I cannot see JK doing it though, he is still young and was raised by BH and BTS, plus is their Golden child...Maybe Tae and Jin who often get mistreated by BH when it comes to screen time and line distribution.

Yoongi has talked about leaving music because of the pressure, but he's also said several times, like on the boat in BV 2, that he wants them to still be doing something together, maybe even still doing music together as BTS, when they are 30 or 40 or 50. So I could also see him wanting a break, maybe to focus more on songwriting and music production for awhile, but I don't think he would be actively thinking about disbanding. I think Jin loves his life and is one of the most grateful for the opportunities BTS has brought him, but I can see how, as the oldest, he may be starting to think about..."What comes next?" He will have to leave to do his military service in the next year or two, plus it's normal that he would want to date, which is difficult to do as an Idol. He may not be ready for marriage and children quite yet, but it is normal that he would start thinking about it now. As for Jungkook and Tae...if they really are in a relationship, continuing on as BTS means that they have to be careful not to offend fans who would be hurt, and not to offend the general public in Korea, where homosexuality is largely condemned. So they can't live their lives openly. And even if they are not in a relationship, I can see how Jungkook would want to try other things. He has been interested in video production for a long time, so I can see him wanting to learn more about that business and move behind the camera at some point to be a director. I know Tae is very interested in photography, but I think Tae could be successful as a solo singer, or as an actor. As for Hobie, I think he loves his life, but I could see him wanting to live a quieter, calmer life. I think he is also one of the most mature members, and I can see him thinking about the future--where he sees himself in 5 years or 10 years. He's already bought his own apartment, after all, even if he's not living in it yet. Of all the members, I think Jimin (my bias wrecker) is the one least likely to want to disband. I think he lacks confidence in himself, and feels that he wouldn't be successful without the other members. But that's just my opinion. They have signed on for another seven years, so I am relieved and glad that they have reaffirmed their commitment to continuing as BTS, but in a way I wish they would take a few pointers from Western artists. In the US, artists don't cater to their fans quite so much. They ARE allowed to have private lives. They date, and break-up, and date someone new. While they may try to keep that part of their life as private as possible, they DO HAVE private lives. It seems like K-Pop fans in general, and maybe Korean K-Pop fans especially, have WAY too much control over the lives of the Idols they love. Look at what just happened with E-Dawn (from Pentagon) and Hyuna. That's one part of K-Pop that I totally don't get... Whatever we think about the reasons for their talk of disbanding, it's all just speculation unless the members decide to talk about it. Even if they do talk some about it, I doubt we'll ever get the full truth, especially if it had anything to do with a Taekook relationship.

Guys I may be wrong about this but please hear (read)me out first: I think all of the members were having an extremely hard time at the beginning of the year, as Suga said himself once that he cried after winning at the AMA's not because he had reached his dream but because of the pressure and expectations they would now have upon them and it is completely true that all of them were having a hard time and to be honest they never hid it that much, we got glimpses of that hardship many times,but what I'm trying to say is what if taekook were the first ones to suggest the disbanding or simply to say they can't take it anymore? Or maybe Tae? Because of the way he reacted and the way both of them reacted but of course you can say it is normal to react that way, and you can say all of them were crying (and all of us were too💔😭) but when you connect the dots -remember how suga had sent a message at the beginning of the year only to tae and kook? A long message with more than 20 sentences (which Jin said he hasn't exchanged in text with suga since debut🤣) and he ended the message with 'I love you' in both cases!!which was something rare for suga to say that's why they were so surprised(of course I'm not saying he never says it it's just we know how suga is a taundere tries to appear toughbut is a softie inside, so it must have been easier for him to say all that through text) ..Immediately when tae broke down and kook comforted him I thought about suga's message! What if Tae and Kook were the ones who really realy couldn't take it anymore and wanted to leave so then all of them had the talk on whether to continue or not?! 😭😭😭they did have a lot of pressure on them at the end of last year, especially after they disappeared at MAMA and people assumed they had hickeys when they came back! Maybe after they decided to stay suga sent them the messages to help and support them no matter what they decide! Just an opinion that crossed my mind...until now I thought suga sent them that message to support them for coming out or something like that, but now... EDIT :I WROTE THIS WHEN I HAD ONLY SEEN HALF OF THE VIDEO BECAUSE I COULDN'T STAND WATCHING THEM CRY AGAIN (and the bgm didn't help) BUT I JUST NOTICED YOU MENTIONED THE SUGA MESSAGE TOO😭😭😭💜AND YES I COMPLETELY AGREE THAT BIGHIT HAS LET THEM BE MORE OPEN AND MORE FREE EXACTLY BECAUSE OF THIS👏👏👏BIGHIT WOULD SUFFER THE MOST IF THEY DISBANDED (well right after us) because they would lose their millions or maybe billions now

Yoongi himself has said several times that he thought about leaving music because the pressure became too much. So it would assume he would also have been one thinking of leaving. I cannot see JK doing it though, he is still young and was raised by BH and BTS, plus is their Golden child...Maybe Tae and Jin who often get mistreated by BH when it comes to screen time and line distribution.

@@malonsox6358 I can actually see Namjoon (my bias) wanting to...maybe not disband completely, but....needing to take a break? He is pretty open about how conflicted he is, trying to live as both Kim Namjoon and RM, and not feeling like he succeeds at either one. Also, because he is the leader, and one of the main lyricists, and because he has to step up the most in their international promotions, especially in English speaking countries, I think he is stressed and TIRED. They all are, but I think his schedule is one of the most strenuous.
Yoongi has talked about leaving music because of the pressure, but he's also said several times, like on the boat in BV 2, that he wants them to still be doing something together, maybe even still doing music together as BTS, when they are 30 or 40 or 50. So I could also see him wanting a break, maybe to focus more on songwriting and music production for awhile, but I don't think he would be actively thinking about disbanding.
I think Jin loves his life and is one of the most grateful for the opportunities BTS has brought him, but I can see how, as the oldest, he may be starting to think about..."What comes next?" He will have to leave to do his military service in the next year or two, plus it's normal that he would want to date, which is difficult to do as an Idol. He may not be ready for marriage and children quite yet, but it is normal that he would start thinking about it now.
As for Jungkook and Tae...if they really are in a relationship, continuing on as BTS means that they have to be careful not to offend fans who would be hurt, and not to offend the general public in Korea, where homosexuality is largely condemned. So they can't live their lives openly. And even if they are not in a relationship, I can see how Jungkook would want to try other things. He has been interested in video production for a long time, so I can see him wanting to learn more about that business and move behind the camera at some point to be a director. I know Tae is very interested in photography, but I think Tae could be successful as a solo singer, or as an actor.
As for Hobie, I think he loves his life, but I could see him wanting to live a quieter, calmer life. I think he is also one of the most mature members, and I can see him thinking about the future--where he sees himself in 5 years or 10 years. He's already bought his own apartment, after all, even if he's not living in it yet.
Of all the members, I think Jimin (my bias wrecker) is the one least likely to want to disband. I think he lacks confidence in himself, and feels that he wouldn't be successful without the other members. But that's just my opinion.
They have signed on for another seven years, so I am relieved and glad that they have reaffirmed their commitment to continuing as BTS, but in a way I wish they would take a few pointers from Western artists. In the US, artists don't cater to their fans quite so much. They ARE allowed to have private lives. They date, and break-up, and date someone new. While they may try to keep that part of their life as private as possible, they DO HAVE private lives. It seems like K-Pop fans in general, and maybe Korean K-Pop fans especially, have WAY too much control over the lives of the Idols they love. Look at what just happened with E-Dawn (from Pentagon) and Hyuna. That's one part of K-Pop that I totally don't get...
Whatever we think about the reasons for their talk of disbanding, it's all just speculation unless the members decide to talk about it. Even if they do talk some about it, I doubt we'll ever get the full truth, especially if it had anything to do with a Taekook relationship.
Our precious boys are really there for each other and they are really have matured in so many ways. What JK did yesterday is so beautiful! ❤️
