HI JBCOINS thank you for more important info. As soon as possible I am planning a trip to the Denver mint to see what I an find! See you tonight.. God bless!
I found two proof coins with rotated die errors. A 1981 half dollar, and a 1981 quarter. They are side by side, in the original proof slab. Is it rare?
Great info ! Been goin thru my old sets,& thinking bout sendin in some 1973 Ike's I found,in my collection. Also ,the 1 '96w dime I found ! Woooo-Hoooo !!! Think I have the 1990 set U mentioned, but don't recall any other's . Keep the info flowin' ,& I'll keep watchin' ! ✌
I have a box of mint cents with every coin from 1960 to 1989. It came in a heavy box in great shape with all of the original paperwork. Would it be better to sell each set separately or try to sell all together? It's more than 300 coins all together.
Hey JB! I was going through a box of pennies with my brother and he came across a 1959 penny. He said it looked different, because it had a darker tone. I inspected it and it has a S mint Mark. I researched online and found that there was no such thing as a 1959-S penny. This is driving me nuts, and I don’t know if it is real or fake. Or maybe it’s a mint error worth thousands? Who knows, let me know what you think it is!
I have. A proof set of the 1943 steel pennies from each mint? What could that be worth? They are pressed in cardboard stating that they are war time pennies. I have it in the zinc and I also have it in the Brown. What could they be worth they are proof sets thank you please comment back and let me know
I have a lot of proof and mint sets from around 1973 on . . I would like to sell them locally and I am offered 55% of the gray sheet prices . Is that fair? In addition I thought I would hold onto the silver sets as feeling individual 90% silver is worth more than any offers Does that make sense.
What I don't see is much value from recent non-proof sets and I am running out of space in my safe. Last I knew, the coin dealer wouldn't give me anything for them. Is there any reason why I shouldn't break them up and spend them (after looking at the cent)? I need room to store silver.
What beautiful sets!! I saw some on a site, but don't know the price for 8 complete sets!! I'm so kicking myself!! I should have at least shared these sets with you and family!! I just didn't know at the time!! Major Bummer!! Great video, I'll be looking for more!! Thanks, B&J!! Hope Mrs B is feeling better!! God Bless!!
Coin collecting is a fun hobby . If you don't have a big budget that allows you to buy expensive coins , you can purchase US mint proof sets featuring the penny , nickel , dime , quarter and half dollar and some sets feature the Eisenhower dollar .They usually cost less than $20 a set depending on how old they are
I bought a proof set either 1970 or 1972 looking for a ddo cent (think it was 70 for a less valuable one and 72 was the higher value one) I bought it because my coin collector eye picked up something wasnt right in the listings photo...I got the coins and seems the mint mark was stamped several times...not sute how to label it in my collection though

I love buying proof sets because I still don't know enough to spend money on coins. I feel more safe buying mint sets until I learn more. ❤️
Shoot for silver, more value as silver prices rise. 🙂👍

I love finding the older sets!! Well, if I can afford them and walk out the door with them!
Thank you so much! Great video!
