Funny how some are so well maintained and some just fall apart. This one looks pretty good, I think. It’s not overgrown or falling apart. Just the fences.
Wow, that was fun to see. My mother's family was all from Il and is buried there, mainly in Niles, Il Really enjoyed seeing the very old Grave Markers. Keep them coming!
Practical reason as well as respect not to step on graves: before concrete containers, coffins eventually rotted and the grave would collapse in if walked upon.
The cemetery tours are cool. You can hear the spirits talk back and forth with each other and with you. I listed a few obvious ones where most people should be able to hear. 8:27 For instance, right after you read the stone that says "father", you hear a voice reply: "Son." 9:10 After you mention the fences are damaged, the voice said "also bended." 11:00 "Work that knees."
Their remains are there but their souls have left them so the loud traffic is more an annoyance to those visiting. My wife and I see the same damage to graves due to vandals/weather here in Florida which is sad to see. Thanks for your many visits and your respect given.
No they haven't left. Many of the souls are still there. You can hear them in this video very clearly. Yes, they are annoyed at the traffic, but there is nothing they can do about it. Other spirits don't mind and sleep well. 7:42 "I sleep well." 7:59 "I hate the traffic." (fainter, but you can still hear)
Because its a 1 year of burt bacharach's death and burial at hillside memorial park culver city California, can you visit his grave and which plot section ofburt bacharach burial is I think it's the garden of Solomon or canan section or the garden of Rebecca let me know

Love it. I hope you can do more of them a lot of history in this one.
I’m glad you enjoy these. It’s interesting to look into the history of some otherwise unknown people.
In the 60’s as a kid living right down the road, having passed by it a thousand times. Never really knew it was there. Great vid.
Interesting. I wish the cemetery could get fixed.

It’s much better than it could be. Some are horribly maintained.

With the larger family markers you will see “satellite stones” likely mother and father are the actual resting places of Julia and Horacio.
Wow, that was fun to see.

Thanks Martha. There will be more. Niles is only about an hour from this one. 😁
