I would use something really gentle first. I’d start with soaking it in water to see how much comes out, then use a really gentle soap, like woolite, and if it is a still there move on to the gentlest stain remover. I’d just try hydrogen peroxide first. It’s more gentle than powered oxygen and won’t leave blue stains. I would save Shout for last, if you need it-unless the stain is on a place that doesn’t have any lace or beading or isn’t easily seen. Maybe the bottom of your dress is safe. And rinse multiple times, because soap residue actually attracts dirt. If you want to be really careful, do an extra, final rinse with distilled water to remove hard water deposits. Good luck!
