I kinda agree, you don’t get the rest of the meter and if you let him get a full ass lengthy taunt off only for him to activate the special second taunt you get the combo but he wins if you let him out.

so regular akuma is basically HUNGRY akuma. in chinese we have a saying: you're feeling weak because you haven't eaten rice. so akuma powers up by doing just that lol

The effort the animators put in for something that's realistically only going to be seen in training mode is out of this world
I like that blankas juggle taunt gives him another blanka chan doll. iirc he can hold an extra 2, total 5 from juggling. You could even sacrifice a stun damage for one and still not get hit.

i'll be honest, this is such a cool Easter egg that some tournament players might have gentlemen's agreements to let one another use Shin-mode.
I mean people are obviously going to use this outside of training mode, the whole reason it's in the game this way is so that you can agree to fight against a real player playing Shin Akuma but it's literally ONLY accessible if both players allow it. Super cool and a really clever way of adding Shin Akuma in a way that it doesn't need to be auto-banned necessarily.

That isn't his sf5 super( Sekia Kuretsuha) it's the sf3 super ( Kongou Kokuretsu Zan)

Nah one taunt kkz, second taunt other super. Third taunt nothing cause air fireball busted double air fireball doesn't need to be in the game. Let me propose this instead tho. You choose your level 2 before starting the match like sfv V-skill / V-triggers, would make for some more interesting gameplay and he already has thos animations
@@ΚρανίΩ consider that this is supposed to be a completely optional boss mode, since if your opponent doesn't want you to use it they can just hit you
if they agree to the challenge, it's their own fault if the rest of the match ends with them getting steamrolled
I 100% imagine people letting Akuma players do this just for fun or to humiliate them further after beating them still.

Honestly they could just make him choose which level 2 he has for the game. This way you have only one, kkz is his least useful one but the coolest, the double back kick is for if you want a long range punish, which is pretty useful. Or normal level 2 with wallsplat and busted combo damage. Pros would still select the normal level 2 but casuals wouldn't or if you're in ranked. Would be sick asf

Akuma had the CvS2 Shin Akuma kanji in SFV so I'm guessing he could already reach God Rugal's power level on his own without Orochi Power.

@@bmoney3837 Until CvS2, the "Shin" in Shin Akuma meant "true" Akuma. As in, Akuma is actually trying to beat you.
The "Shin" in CvS2 Shin Akuma meant "divine" Akuma. Akuma with the power of god. The main series of SF never had this version of Shin Akuma until SFV when base form Akuma had the same kanji as God Akuma.

Riceball in Japanese word is Onigiri, the word Onigiri has "Oni" in it, which means "demon" (鬼) in Japanese, so when Akuma ate "Oni"giri then turns into true demon, means Shin Akuma.
And remember in SF4, Akuma' s another form is called "Oni" (Kuruoshiki Oni, 狂オシキ鬼).

Hope that he isn't the only one with a super install in the future. Would be fun if, in the grand finals, imagine an Akuma player and a Ryu player taunt at the same time at the final round and its Shin Akuma vs One with Nothingness Ryu( other secret super installs like Dark Lady Chun, Dark Sakura, Hado Dan, Violent Ken, and many more).
What if the rule is that both players have to start with the super install, and then it’s the OP vs OP match from there

I thought Shin Akuma was a result of the Satsui no Hado overwhelming his body. Turned out to be indigestion, interesting.

They captured the spirit of Akuma so well that they even gave us some awesome secret bullshit that will in no way affect the meta. I fucking love this game so much

But on the other side. Goddammit I love both of those supers and wish "Shin Akuma" was a lv.2 (or even a Lv.3) install where you could spend the rest of your install to do one of the secret supers.
Honestly, as much as I like his new Level 2 Super, I actually think a 'Shin Akuma' Install Level 2 would've been better. They already went through the effort of making these extra animations and effects. It's a shame to restrict them them all to an easter egg that can't even be done in casual play because of how impractical it is.

It's a cool easter egg, but one that is ultimately useless, since unless your opponent just lets you go through with it, I scarcely believe it'll ever see use in a real match, and I am pretty sure even offline the CPU will eventually hit you out of the animation.

One of my friends' first comment when seeing SF6 Ryu was, "He looks more homeless than ever now." When you think about it, Akuma is just as homeless and dirt-poor as Ryu. OF COURSE he's been going hungry all this time, unable to unleash his true power.
I wish this was a lot shorter, i understand they needed to make it impossible to use in a match for sake of balance but i think itd be fair if it could fit the time of a knockdown, that way you can choose to end the match right then and there or go shin akuma for the disrespect

Funny because technically akuma is already shin akuma full time in this game, white platinum hair and all, he just decide to go full power on this taunt, you can see he also uses some of oni moves, you proves akuma has reached his peak in controlling satsui no hado, to the point he does fear to go full power and lose control anymore, which was the situation before, he could be shin full time, as satsui would consume him, but now he has complete control over it, so he basically just eat and get serious.

I like the V-Trigger version better for him in SFV.
So he has special imputs for raging demon, and has access to some moves he'd normally get in SF5 v trigger by using a long animation to eat a rice ball. Akuma, endless fan favourite privilages. (Not that he's ever gonna get this off in a real match, unless it's two mirror matches you silently agree to both do it)
