TL;DW + Timestamps (all done in mobile)
    1:13
put Cylinders on corners to stop players for glitching out (just make the walls a few studs thicker
    2:19
put an invisible truss on ladders to make it more climbable
    3:46
if you have a cylinder with the textures on the wrong way, (bricks facing from top to bottom) then group it with another part with the same texture to make the cylinder have the correct texture
    4:35
if you’re spacing objects then select 2 parts, duplicate both of them and make the first part line up with the last part and then deete the part
    6:03
add an invisible wedge on stairs so you won’t get stuck while climbing up
    7:54
if you have a light source that is high in the air to the point where it doesn’t reach the ground just add another light effect on the ground (just add more range in the light property in your light source)

Well actually, players could still glitch through those invisible walls as long as they're 1-2 studs thick. Basically, there's many glitches in Roblox, and if you do /e dance2 (then doing the glitch along with that dance command), you're able to get past the wall.
Now, I would explain this, but it can be pretty complicated to say how it works, so I'll just say that.
*I suggest that everyone makes their invisible barriers 5 studs thick to avoid this problem.*

If you want evenly spaced pillars between two points, take the distances between the two points, subtract the width [W] of your part from the distant [D] to get the new distants [X] then devide that number by the amount [Y] to get the stud spacing [F] should look like this
    W-D=X
    X/Y=F

2:42 Instead of making your game laggy, just scale it... Like, why duplicate? Just why?
Edit: Guess you can't scale them 😅

    • @hamster3664

you cant scale trusses in both ways, they only get taller not wider so duplication is the only way to make them cover the entire ladder

One thing I would do if I wanted to light up an area but keep global shadows on is Id do it the easy way Id get an invisible part with some crazy lighting properties and just resize it like say you have a building and wanted a cool night time scene then do that and itll look like the inside is lit up

For the lights and spot lights you could literally use the range to extend it further... Only need to do that when the range is fully extended and you still need it on the ground..

  • @Chan-um9xf

at 7:55 u dont need an attachment with the light bc then if smth is above the light the neon part doesnt have the light so it does not shine any light on it, i personnally use the range but its a good trick if u want a light source thats like extremely high above ground

if players go under the stairs they cant go through because of the wedge so instead use a part and just rotate it, make it invisible, put it in the position of the stairs and boom, you can go through without the wedge blocking you,

on the golden brick part... you can just union the wall and cylinder together.. but if you would want a wall as a door, then its really useful! :D (i fixed one grammar issue with the edit and made it more clear/understandable)

I havent made a game in a while because my pc's motherboard doesn't work but I'm pretty sure you can go to the properties of the light and increase the range. if you want more surface area covered by light and dont want to spam lights around, just increase the angle in properties

That last tip was kind of dumb. Spotlight has a setting in properties for range. This setting allows the light to spread farther and closer to the actual part. Some of these tips were very obvious, and dumb. But still I think this was a fun video. I didn't know the thing with the cylinder texture, but I would never really need that.
