I think it's actually clever they choose to depict Sanada Masayuki as an Las-Vegas-kind-of-styled illusionist or magician, precisely because his strategies and tactics were somewhat impredictable as if they were magic tricks. Apparently in the first Siege of Ueda Castle he let the Tokugawa think that he would become a monk and give them the castle (he even shaved his head!) just before the siege, but this was to buy time to put traps everywhere. So, it's like he was kind of a "showman" to trick their opponents. Sengoku BASARA most of time will find a way to depict metaphorically and hiperbolically some flashy aspect of an historical figure in their SB counterparts.
Or, for Sanada Nobuyuki to have his wife! Also she's the daughter of Honda Tadakatsu... I really want to see their interactions XD Next one be Ootani Yoshitsugu's daughter and Yukimura wife, Akihime!
Too bad he just had to be in a game where Sanada is the main focus. You gotta remember this game is released during the days where a TV Drama called Sanadamaru at its highest fame. That's why KOEI made Spirits of Sanada. and CAPCOM with Yukimura-den (albeit with flaws)
