I love how SNSD never loose their politeness through in the showbusiness. They were still respectful as what they are from their rookie era. Wonder Girls and SNSD were close friends, I mean no doubt. But SNSD calling them 'sunbaemin', 'senior colleague' is something. Nowadays, seniority doesn't exist when a two girl group become friends either become popular.
back in the day, I remember the fan wars, It's was all part of the competition, I want snsd to win. They pushed each other to success. Now I'm glad I was there for it. I love both groups. Its sad how almost every group from that time has split and moved on. I would love to see them get back together and release something as a secret surprise sometime.
But it isn't right to say that snsd became popular because they went to US. Since debut SNSD has shown great skills and talents that will make them to the top.

OMG, I remember back in 2008 when I would literally wake up at 2am just to watch award show performances by Wonder Girls, they were so big back then.. if JYP had not tried to debut them in the US so quick... they would probably still be big or well-known, to say the least.
They still well known to old K-Pop fan. About the US promotion u can't blame JYP I think both JYP and WG members want to promote in US and expand K-pop fan base than sitting in Korea making more Korean fan. Although it wasn't a big success for them in the US but it make way for new generation of K-Pop to follow. I don't think they regret that decision.
Wonder girl's didn't know their future. If they became popular like bts at that time then everybody will praise them not snsd. Snsd became popular in korea and wondergirl's also did that. I don't realize why some snsd fans always try to disrespect wonder girl's. Wonder girl's follow their own way and they give us some amazing song.
Well, i was watching a interview with Yubin in 2018 when she has some kind a reality when she was preparing for going solo, and she said that the only close friends she has are Sunmi, Sohee and Lim.
I think there all still really close I know Lim and Yubin are still with JYP and Sumni and Yubin still meet up and I know yubin has met with Sunye and sohee in the past so I dont think anything has happended they just dont see one another much.
