This is a bummer. I would think it would be a little bit better and some resolution so that we can see what is being done. Also, it's nice to be talking directly to the instrument, using what interface? What are the connection points etc? As the video shows Visa's O-W-R-C being pulled do the block diagram how are they interfaced to the Front Panel. Things are popping up which I cannot see and then lines being drawn between them and the Visa O-W-R-C's. How is this accomplished.
I'm trying to use SCPI commands to control an instrument over a TCP/IP interface. What was not specified in your video was the physical connection between Labview and the function generator. How were you able to simply select the device from the pull down menu?
I am very much a novice but your device should show as a COM port in the pull down. If not then you are missing a driver or something more basic. NI has resources for finding drivers like IDnet to devices or go to the manufacturer.
Pavan Kumar Polisetti. The instrument manuals have the SCPI commands and typically some example programs. The manuals are usually available on our website for free as pdf.
Can't read what you wrote for the write buffer because resolution is too low.
