loving the wands! One thing I would say ... use an anti static bag thingy (forgot the name!) or a dryer sheet inside the ornament ball to make it less static. Oh my goodness I have to make these!
Thank you. I am sure you could use dowels or skewers but when I insert the straw, it is really tight and will not slide out. It is a lot stronger with just the straw in it! HUGS ~ Michelle
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. This is to cute! I already started with a baulb shaker (after I saw your video) But was not sure what glue to use. So this was very helpfull. TFS Grtz Petra
This is the most Beautiful shaker I've ever seen! Absolutely Love Love Love it and your work! TFS and I appreciate the tutorial too... Big Hugs, Sue Ann 👍😉💗🌸💜
Michelle, Great job...I love this. We have 2 great-granddaughters, Sophie who is 4 & Skarlett who is 3. They both love girly things & I KNOW they will love this, so I am going to make 2 of them & bring them when I go down to see them for Halloween. I would probably just put different color ribbon so they know which one belongs to which little girl. TFS
Super cute! Thanks for sharing :). Sooo totally burnt my fingers! Still haven't managed to get the hang of being fast enough to get the back on before the glue dries or drips everywhere!! Lol
Absolutely Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your ideas. Please , can you tell me where you got the ballerinas? I want want to make a few of these for my nieces birthday which is on Christmas and I can't seem to find these ballerinas anywhere. I see so many videos with people using them and I would love to know where to buy them from. Again, thank you so much
I bought mine a long time ago but they are cupcake toppers. Go to Etsy and type: ballerina cupcake toppers in the search and that should bring some up. Hope this helps!! HUGS ~ Michelle
If we don't have the die cuts you have and want to use other tools, can you tell me what the width of the circles are? Thanks!! Girl, no need to apologize so much!! We are just excited that you're sharing how to do this with us!! I love your wands!! I didn't know about the trick to making the straw stronger!! That's so cool!! I loved the video!! xoxo Jen
Michelle Randolph The largest circle die you used was only 3 inches? It looks so much larger on the video! I'll talk to you soon! Xoxo Jen Thanks for the awesome reply!
Hi Michele, thank you for this amazing tutorial. I have done one yesterday but I had à problem with condensation into the ball. Did you already have this issue ?
Mary, I got the ballerina from Etsy and it is a cupcake topper. I got the shaved ice from Hobby Lobby in the scrapbooking section a long time ago. If you look in the Christmas department of any store, they should have it in a bag. I think people use it to decorate their Christmas villages. Hope that helps! Happy Shopping ~ Michelle
