Great song, love the lyrics, funny as hell! I also dig that song The Apples Are Just Turning Ripe, also off the same album, if I'm not mistaken. Been trying to find the words for it...
good song...I remember seeing this a while back and I thought it was pretty funny...thanks for reminding me of it again...I'm going to have to pick up the album...I need some more ralph and I have hardly any of Jim's stuff
First time I heard this was at the opening of the Ralph Stanley Museum, and it was great. You can find it on Jim & Ralph's Lost in the Lonesome Pines CD. And while Jim wrote it, the whole thing's very biographical for Ralph.
That is soooo funny! At the end they're fussing about which one she was looking at,and she was walking away with Ralph's grandson! Just to let you know,I'd be looking at Ralph!
❤❤This video cracks me up❤❤
Ralph being my life long idol, this is an awesome video !!!!! Love the antics !!
This is WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT.
Not only do we need music education in schools, this video needs to be REQUIRED VIEWING.
LOVE!!!
Super!!!!
Wow!

Haaa haaa! That's hillarious. I've met Ralph and his band and this video fits their comical character, especially Jack Cooke.

Now, fellas, let's get it right. Now I'm an Ol rat at the barn and she's lookin' at me!
The album is Lost In The Lonesome Pines by Jim Lauderdale & Ralph Stanley. A great album by the way.
The only thing positive of Ralphs passing is Lauderdale has disappeared too
Hello Lindsey how are you doing 👋👋

jim and ralph did a record together in 2003 or so. you can find it in both jim and rajph's bin at the record store.
Funny
no way she is looking at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video, is that Ralph Stanley's grand-daughter
Allison Moorer,a singer in her own right.
The bluegrass resurgence of the early 2000s didn't last long enough.
She walked off with Nathan Stanley.
Reckon he still knows her number?
How does a guy know when a woman is flirting with him?
When she starts talking to him.
No drums needed here!
No! She's looking at me.
