It's amazing to me how many videos I see of this or the Small Rig where people don't even mount a camera, just fiddle with it. Ugh. Nice to see you take it out in the field.
Thanks! I've used this video head for about a year now including on set, so I think I have a good understanding of it. It's definitely difficult to pan smoothly with longer lenses and for that sort of work, this is probably not the best gear to use.
Well that is what i call a review. Thank you. But after seeing this im not sure if this head is for me cause i will mainly use it for 80mm and more focal length
Thank you! I think it might be a strech to use this for longer lenses. I struggled with a 50 mm lens even with that longer handle. No stabe in the camera or the lens, though.
