Addiction was not Corey Haim 's problem. Sexual abuse was.
😂 this dude thinks Arsenio Hall is Wesley Snipes in Coming to America ! …
Jim Carrey's family became homeless and they lived in a VW van. 16 year old Jim and his brother spent months living in a tent in a park. Jim had to quit school to take a job as a janitor. Jim used the pain in his comedy: “My father lost his job, and I actually became homeless for quite some time. Of course, I grew up in Canada, so I thought we had just gone camping.”
Hollywood the land of illusions.... and sadly delusions..
Drugs destroys people's life that's why it's important extremely important you stay away from drugs
That's right. Everybody has their season. My sister once told me that you are either entering, the middle of or coming out of a storm. Don't judge anyone. No one is perfect.
Homelessness could happen to anybody.
Corey Haim struggled because he was molested as a child by some hollyweird bigshot/s. But that has always been kept hush hush. Corey Feldman as well a victim. RIP CH.
Brett Butler fell but in recent years shes has got back on track and is doing pretty good to this day ..
Everyone will go through ups and downs in their lives, not just celebrities.
Can you imagine being told as a preteen that you’re fired because you have acne and nobody hires him ever again. That’s so sad and so shallow but that’s Hollywood.
Drugs - illegal or legal - can destroy the most attractive person sadly.
It's heartbreaking to see how Hollywood celebrities like Brett Butler can face such hardships, but I hope she's doing better now
The one thing that I see and realize, is that almost, if not all, of these "famous" people are so sadly unhappy!
Lonnie was absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes it’s better to just be a nobody. Sad story. ✌🏻
Another one is Rebecca Twigg, Olympic cycling star of the 1980s. She was reported homeless on the streets of Seattle a few years ago - don’t know what’s happened to her since then. She was a great inspiration of mine back in those days as I was trying my hand at bicycle racing. We always dreaded that she’d show up amongst the female competitors, which did happen on occasion in her pre-Olympic days.
I think it should be mentioned if/when a celebrity is abused as a child, it leads to addictions later on. It's an important part of some Hollywood stories, no?
Cory was used as a boy toy That what ruined him
Hollywood star or not ,,, welcome to the real world that most have to endure.
Wesley Snipes was not in COMING TO AMERICA~!!
First time if you experiment with drugs. Remember it never ends well. It takes hold of you
And yet Christian Bale, Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman were all child actors - but had solid good parents. That is SO important x
Wesley snipes was not in coming to america with eddie murphy..... That actor is arsenio hall
I can't imagine how Lonnie feels looking at old pics/vids of herself. Im an addict and when i see old pics of myself i become so so depressed... and im just an everyday person who could only dream to look like Lonnie in me best days. I wish her my best ❤❤
Jim Carrie came from poverty, his career has rebounded. At one point the family lived in a trailer park.
What comes first, Addiction or mental health issues? This seems to be the common denominator.
Drugs ruined them all.
when your rich and famous with millions of adoring fans, how many bridges to you have to burn for no one to even give you a couch to sleep on.
Overall, a good presentation and I appreciate your empathetic delivery.
❤R.I.P. Corey Haim❤
It seems they all have off-screen lives 'fraught with challenges'. Those challenges seem to be caused by substance abuse. I guess the moral of the story is: Don't do drugs, and take the rather lucrative paychecks and invest wisely. I can't feel sorry for people who ruin their own lives. Many of us never got the opportunities, but stayed out of the gutter and are doing well, thank you,
Hollywood is now a thing of the past!
Nothing good happens when you start doing drugs.
Their problem is they spend more than they have instead of saving up and building their own business.
Thank you very much for this video. A hard lesson to learn: don't be self-destructive.
Well that was a depressing romp.Thanks.
I wish I could see Arsenios reaction when someone tells him he was mistakenly i.d.'ed as Wesley Snipes. 🤯
Tattoos all over your neck and face are a sure sign of mental health issues
These stories are depressing. However it seems that most of these folks pretty much brought their "misfortunes" on themselves, mostly through lack of self discipline. I don't want to seem heartless, I feel sorry that things turned out so badly for them!
These people are entertainers. Please stop calling them "celebrities" and "stars".
They're just like you and me, but they had a different career path.
Someone should have told Snipes, even big people pay taxes and he doesn't look ANYTHING like Arsenio Hall.
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna end up with
Erin Moran was so pretty!
This is not heartbreaking. It's ironic. You all have seen the homeless walking the streets begging on a corner and storefronts. NOT one person says " oh how brave." One thing they all have in common is drugs and alcohol. The thing these famous people dont have that "regular people" have. is they do not have the ability to have restraint. We all have our demons. The difference is some choose to confront and deal with them and other just let them consume them.
No one said it was going to be easy❤😢
That was so sad for all, of them.
I don’t understand a GoFundMe for a talented actress who still has the ability to be able to earn money. There are people with serious situations who don’t have the means.
So many sad sad stories
Most of those people are not down on their luck. They created it with their drugs and alcohol addiction .
the only one i respect? Heady... she not only downsized her lifestyle she still works n has accepted living more modestly instead of just overspending then goin bankrupt like the others. that survivor one Todd wotever.... sure he did awesome but i cant think of him as a celebrity. anyone can get on survivor
so many die from drug abuse... crazy to see and sad in many ways... who are those people who bring them to their death?
Just say no to drugs
I don't know most of them. I'm from the time with Robert de Niro, Jack Nicholson, etc.
Too many deals with the devil.
I wondered what happened to Brett butler ! She was great ! I remember her and hoping she is well
Such a sad life after being born such a pretty and successful talented Young Actress.
Hollywood is spoiled
This substance abuse, like being on drugs and spending their money, is their downfall. They make bad choices.
Most of these stars maybe financially embarrassed but were not homeless.
Substance abuse and mental health issues seem to go hand in hand.
See, how far away from Hollywood I am, I had no idea Kim was married to Alex Baldwin. Poor, Kim, so sorry.
Who would ever think that celebrity drug addicts would face other problems than "regular" people drug addicts. Take no drugs, it's so simple. If you don't take drugs (or at least control it tightly), and if you are not really unlucky (illness, accident, mental illness ...), then you will find a way to restart your life even after being homeless. Also, there is psychotherapy available.
20 Famous AMERICAN People Became DRUG ADDICT You’d Never Recognize Today
Jim Carrie is an inspiration to me
most of these celebrities made their money...and then giving them away to drug dealers. Moral of the story, be a drug dealer.
I like Jim C, the most out of all people on your list! Jim is a Great Role Model!
The other people in your list are just Self-Destructive, & have Self-Hate!
It could happen to any one of us.
Why do we care about these "famous people" who mess up their own life even earned tons of easy money? I would rather care for family who is poor but working hard to improve their own life.
It's all about mental and financial strategies. Good luck after even just $1 million is too much to handle...
LATE VIEWER FROM PHILIPPINES
Well, I wouldn't say all these people became homeless. While many of them caused their own problems, I do feel bad for those who got pushed out of employment due to age or lost $ in divorce or medical challenges. But anyone who had it all, spent it all and then had nothing, I don't feel bad for.
Tyson is doing well now.
A commercial on famine, in the last year I have bought 100 thousands of cans of everything... and yes I own a bunker and another I built in the mountains with I beams as a inner framing...
You're telling us this because? ...
Love Watching these videos ❤❤❤❤
Wesley Snipes was in coming to America the sequel
It’s a shame that local drug dealers held all these stars down & forced them to use drugs. There should be a law against that.
You started really well. I didn’t recognize the street people! After that all I saw were folks having problems…….but recognized them all!
Thank you for this; I feel less alone now.
I love what they did with. Lisa's hair. Is just good. Absolute demonstration of what seventies and eighties air look like with the feathering
This is so sad. Kudos to the people who made it through the hard times. ❤️❤️
Saw a very recent video of Barbara Eden and at 92 years old she's looking better than Lonnie Willison of whom is around 41 years old. Proof that we are a product of our life choices.
Great job Amanda B.❤
why is it most entertainers are surfing from drug addiction or alcohol abuse and money problems you make that kind of money you dont go buying a big house and leave work when done dont party
Why do these people not save money for rainy days like everyone else. And not get a normal job even if it's cleaning toilets. It's still work that pays
Carey got sick of corrupt Hollyweird.
Well I was at first Shattered then Spellbound and in the end Captivated.
You wouldn't think all this would happen to them ltd terrible they can't get work to keep them off the street they were all talented
9:09pm here in the USA same time only morning there in the Phillipines....your English is very good! well done!
Addiction to drugs ...and its still not banned in the US.
God gave them good looks, talent & success. They threw all away. Amen. I know people born with serious illnesses, some who got stuck on a weelchair by an accident or deaseses... And they never give up, live at their best, work, have families and help others. As said... "Don't give pearls to pigs".
Having lots of money brings boredom...that's the message I am getting. If you cannot use your talent and resulting rewards wisely there is truly no point in nurturing it in the first place. These people could have brought so much change to the world with their financial power, but, everyone seems to have 'financial struggles and strains', substance abuse issues and lawsuits against them... I wish they all had the strength not to follow the crowd or keep bad company. They should have never found themselves in this situation, very sad.
Good lesson to any actor making money... DO THE RIGHT THING!
Great to see the entertainment industry looks after it's own
Great job Todd….!
So sad. Most so young.. some older but what Hollywood was doing… sad… RIP TO ALL!
There is no such thing as financial stability in U.S. anymore.
Those who died young has one thing in common: substance Abuse
Brett Butler earned an estimated 25 million in grace under fire zero pity
Thank you
Whatever happened to these actors I thank them for the gift they gave through their talent
I appauled them
