Chalmers: Why is there smoke coming out of your kitchen Seymore? Seymore: Umm... Oh! That isn't smoke, that is steam! Steam from the steamed clams we're having! Chalmers: You call hamburgers steamed clams? Seymore: No no! I said steamed hams! Chalmers: Eh?!
Seyore: It's a regional dialect. Chalmers: Uhuh, uh what region? Seymore: Uh... Utica. Chalmers: Really? Well I'm from Utica and I never heard anyone- Seymore: Oh not in Utica no, it's an Albany expression! Chalmers: Scowls.
Okay but the editing on "y'know these hamburgers are Krusty Burgers" is flawless, if I didn't know the original line I genuinely wouldn't have any idea that was edited. Top job
Of all the steamed hams versions I've seen this the worst I've seen Skinner lie. Like.... his lies were SO BAD that Chalmers was losing his mind with anger lol
This reminds me of those science fiction stories where someone goes back in time to try to prevent something from happening, but it's just fated to happen and so the same results just play out in slightly different ways.
Is it sad that I knew the kitchen scene was from the Obsessively Investigative edit before I even read the description? Good on you for giving credit too.
Regular Show Edition: [Benson knocked on Mordecai's door to see Mordecai cooking lunch. Then, Mordecai opened the door to let his boss in] Benson: Well, Mordecai, I made it, despite your directions. Mordecai: Ah, Mr. Dunwoody, welcome. I hope you're prepared for an unforgettable luncheon! Benson: Okay. [Benson sat at the dining table to wait for the lunch made by Mordecai. Then, Mordecai went to the kitchen to get his food, namely toasted chickens, to eat with Benson so that he could get a promotion and a big salary from Benson. But, he was shocked after seeing his food burnt and really panicked if Benson saw it] Mordecai: Holy Craps!!! My roast is ruined! Benson: *Knocking Mordecai's Kitchen Door* Mordecai? Mordecai: *Mordecai saw the Wing Kingdom Restaurant from his Window and had a Great Idea* But what if I were to purchase fast food and disguise it as my own cooking? *Chuckles* Delightfully devilish, Mordecai. [Mordecai immediately jumped through the window and into the Wing Kingdom to buy chicken wings as Food that he prepared for Benson. But, without Mordecai realizing it, when he came out, he jumped into the window. Benson enters the kitchen to talk to Mordecai and is shocked to see his subordinates fleeing into the Wing Kingdom through the window. And that makes Benson angry and suspicious that Mordecai is doing something wrong] Benson: MORDECAI!!! *With suspicion, he sat back down while waiting for Mordecai to return with his food* Mordecai: *Bringing chicken wings after purchasing them from Wing Kingdom* Mr. Dunwoody, I hope you're ready for mouthwatering chicken wings. [They both ate chicken wings. Benson, who had seen Mordecai escape through the window to the Wing Kingdom, was very suspicious and he asked his subordinates] Benson: You know, these chicken wings are quite similar to the ones they have at Wing Kingdom. Mordecai: Hahaha, no! Patented Peterson Wings. Old family recipe! Benson: Really? Mordecai: Yes! Benson: Yes, and called them wings, despite the fact they are obviously Wing Kingdom. Mordecai: *With panic* Y-Uh.. you know, the One thing.... Benson: Why is there smoke coming out of your chicken, Mordecai? Mordecai: *With panic* Uh... oh! That isn't smoke, it's toasted! Toast from the toasted porks we're having. Benson: You called chicken wings 'toasted porks'? Mordecai: Oh no, I said 'toasted chickens'. That's what I call chicken wings. Benson: You call chicken wings 'toasted chickens'? Mordecai: Yes! It's a regional dialect. Benson: Uh-huh. Eh, what region? Mordecai: Uh... California. Benson: Really? Well we live in California and I've never heard.... Mordecai: Oh, not in California. It's from Kentucky. Benson: *With suspicion and suspecting that the food he ate was not the Mordecai family's cooking* [Suddenly, Mordecai heard the sound of smoke coming from the oven and he wanted to ask Benson for a moment to go to the kitchen] Mordecai: Excuse me for one second. Benson: Okay. [Mordecai went into the kitchen to turn off the oven which was starting to burn. But, instead he made a big fire in his kitchen] Mordecai: *yawns* Well, that was wonderful. A good time was had by all. I'm go to my bathroom. Benson: Yes, I should be *It was then that he saw Mordecai's kitchen door which was emitting a lot of smoke* What the hell, what is happening in there?! Mordecai: Aurora Borealis? Benson: Ah... Aurora Borealis?! At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen?! Mordecai: Yes. Benson: I'll check it out! Mordecai: Mr. Dunwoody.... [Benson immediately went into the kitchen and saw that Mordecai's kitchen was on fire. And he already knew that Mordecai was lying. Then, Rigby screams at Mordecai because their house is on fire] Rigby: Mordecai! The house is on fire! Mordecai! Help!!! Benson: MORDECAI!!!!! [After that, Mordecai and Benson left the house] Benson: Well, Mordecai. You're Fired! [Benson leaves and leaves Mordecai's house burning. And, Mordecai has to accept that he has lost his job] Rigby: AAAHHHH!!! MORDECAI!!! HELP!!! Mordecai: Don't worry, Rigby! I'll call the Fire Department. And, I have one more message, Rigby. Now, Benson fired me. I'm sorry, Rigby. END
Something interesting I think this version demonstrates: In the original, there's a sort of...momentum to it. Each lie simultaneously works just barely works yet also is ridiculous enough to wear Chalmers down in a sense. This builds up to the point where Chalmers is willing to believe "Aurora Borealis" and it feels like a natural conclusion. By contrast, if Chalmers figures out just one lie, the whole thing comes crashing down.
This is even more realistic than the original
In the original, the northern lights happen in his kitchen. Not much realism.
Isn't hard

Did not expect Seymour not giving a thumbs up when Chalmers looks back. Nice touch.
I was expecting a 🖕
Steamed Hams: The Bad Ending
“You went to Krusty Burger a little to early.”
Steamed Hams but Skinner can't pass the Charisma checks
"Well Seymour, I must say, You're fired."
And so is his house
Poop.
Love how Chalmers smiles when he tells Skinner he’s fired.
Chainsaw Chalmers.
Skinner saying "poop" at the end was the icing on the cake.
Ew
Yeah the chocolate icing
this was actually pretty good
Thanks man.

I like how he shows him the inside of the burger again as proof it's not steamed
Superintendent Chalmers: You’re fired
Seymour: (smiling as Chalmers walks away for reason)
I've probably seen 50+ steamed hams edits and this is the best by far.
Close second is where Skinners mom dies lol
I love how a good 25% of these memes are just Skinner gaslighting Chalmers
"Well Seymour, I must say... You're fired! :D"
That got me XD
This reminds me of those science fiction stories where someone goes back in time to try to prevent something from happening, but it's just fated to happen and so the same results just play out in slightly different ways.
Seymore clones burgers and Chalmers becomes baffled
this is a great edit, good use of using dialogue from other episodes
"You know, these hamburgers are Krusty Burgers." lol
“Steamed Hams” but it’s real life.
Well Seymour I must say you're fired🙂
Steamed Hams but Skinner fails miserably trying to gaslight Chalmers
This was a lot better than I expected
That's why isometric exercises are so important! 😅

"Well, Seymour, I must say: YOU'RE FIRED."
"SKINNERS, YOUR FIRED!" also skinners: *continues to smile while chalmers walks away*
Chalmers: "Well Seymour I must say, YOU'RE FIRED"
Seymour: 🙂
Wow, the editing in this one is top-notch!
Steamed Hams but Skinner fails the Deception checks.
"Uh huh" 😂😂😂😂😂
That stare from skinner at the end 😂

I like the touch where Chalmers calls Seymour's name before barging in his kitchen. Sounds like he heard the roast was ruined.
He runs rather quickly

More than other's this gave a good laugh
Well done!
This was great
Seymour is *fired* ! Like... Fire ed... Because his house is burning... Whatever.
2:22
Not bad, although I watched so many Steamed Hams that this feels like some of their scenes were reused for this specific version
Well done
It's kinda similar to the one we have in the original
