before you drain your oil always crack the oil filter and replace it first because one you crack it there’s a vacuum nd all the oil goes down to the sump so everytime your doing what your doing there is just mixing good oil with some of the old stuff that was at the oil filter👍🏻

My old MK5 Golf GTI had the chrome R8 oil cap on it (May fit yours) but to get it to sit straight you had to separate the top part and you could relocate it so it was straight! Will fix the OCD of millions!
Mercs with direct injection and these type of spark plugs have to be torqued in order for the plugs to be in the right place - if they’re not torqued you can get serious missfires
Damn This man didn’t pre screw the wheel bolts in before using the impact gun, could easily have ruined the wheel hub in a sec, not Mat but the worker.
The expert car refurbisher is near 100k and those wheels OH MY GOD you got a banging set mate. Change the centre caps to merc though if I was you I would. Yes I do always eat rubbish from the bins as I never have time to queue up outside Tesco’s these days. I might try this drink thing.
The alloys have changed the car already. Just fitted my new (well used) alloys to my car. Just waiting for some time off work to go get them refurbed and painted black. I'm excited now as they wheels have transformed your car. I don't comment much but love the videos mate

Great video Mat, Actually watched this one a while back but I remembered you mentioning something about using muc off bike cleaner to clean an engine. I didn’t have anything else to use on me at the time so I remembered this vid. Great advice mate, I sprayed it on and scrubbed away at it with a brush and it went really foamy and dissolved all the dirt easily. I finished with some muc off silicone shine as well which made it look and smell amazing. Thank you so much Mat, so glad to see you are getting the attention you deserve

That oil cap, you might be able to split the top half away from the bottom half, then align it correctly and snap the two halves back together
I’ve honestly never torqued the spark plugs I just go hand tight

At first I thought the alloys looked naff but they have proper grown on me and actually really suit the car.
Alloys look great, engine bay looks mint after the clean up. One thing what about a de badge on the wings and rear make it look extra tidy.👍🤟😄

Had the same problem on my A class with the exhaust being loose, and I bought it brand new think it must be a common manufacture error.

One thing i had to do when modifying my old a45 with an induction kit was a BOV as the turbo doesn’t have on as standard. You will get turbo flutter
